While the USA is the epitome of non-anti-fragility on the outside, it probably is the most repressive military regime of all time if you scratch just below the surface. I'd say this regime became entrenched and all-powerful starting with the Vietnam war. The USSR lasted what, 70 years? Give us until 2023 at least. Maybe even 2033 or beyond. Smart and motivated people who live 100 miles from major metros and at least 20 miles off major interstates should be fine. <br /><br />Remember, if the elites abandon ship to NZ and leave this place in charge of administrators and the military - and the public is aware of this - then it comes down to public perception of military leadership. Right now, confidence in the military is at an all-time high.
