The fires and homeless are what concern me. It's all a slow burn. Crime; homelessness and fires. Cali has been this way for decades though. It's still a great place to live for many and not nearly as many ppl have left for
hell pits like Texas as one may think.

I've seen several fancy restaurants and businesses open up. Really nice ones. The masking isn't taken that seriously in almost any business. One of them checked vax status at their "grand opening," then a week later had staff with masks off serving customers.

I am playing golf at a beautiful golf course with impeccable service. As long as they have their water I can keep enjoying that.

The climate change is what concerns me. I went to a parade that had a huge fire spewing float, in a city that has evacuated recently. That's insane. Minimal rainfall. The food supply is threatened. I saw several tree orchards, almonds maybe, totally uprooted.

The homeless? Terrible. I see prostitution and tent cities.

The covid stuff? Insane, but I hope they are losing the narrative. The new variant is not panicking anybody.
At all. Maybe they'll be able to lock down more. I suspect they have cried wolf.

The cities seem to have gone to shit, but that seems to be all of the usa. Conservatives seem to forget that their food comes from the west.

The drought is a huge deal. For fires food and farming. There are no solutions, just consequences.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
