Mission Hill. As she was scavenging from trash can to trash can, her daughter, around seven-years-old, tagged along on the sidewalk. I could hear the girl count in Mandarin, "1,2,3,4."
I once talked with a man who claimed to collect like 40$ in cans a day . My first job paid around that , for 7 long hours operating rides . It wouldn't surprise me if can collecting becomes a respectable occupation in the coming years ...

Hi Ksou,
As more people collect cans, there will be fewer for each, and less money. Also, as Americans go broke, they won't drink as many cans of corn syrup.

Hi Ksou,
I can understand less than 10 words of Mandarin. My stepmother is Cantonese, and my wife's stepfather is Fukienese...
