Against Genocides Always

As published at SubStack, 8/19/23:

[Henry Herskovitz’ garage in Ann Arbor on 8/4/16]

In Ann Arbor, citizens are allowed to speak at city council meetings, so on 8/7/23, Henry Herskovitz gave this statement:

Good evening,

Sometimes it doesn’t take a revisionist to enlighten us about the exaggerations we find in the Holocaust narrative. Often the enlightenment comes at the hands of the Holocaust traditionalists themselves. Recommended reading from the Ann Arbor Public Schools Holocaust curriculum is the well-known novel Night, written by the famous Elie Wiesel. On page 32, he writes:

“Not far from us, flames, huge flames, were rising from a ditch. Something was being burned there. A truck drew close and unloaded its hold: small children. Babies! Yes, I did see this, with my own eyes ... children thrown into the flames. (Is it any wonder that ever since then, sleep tends to elude me?)”

And in another book from the same author—The Jews of Silence, he writes about the alleged massacre of 33,000 Jews at Babi Yar in the Ukraine. From p. 48 we read: “Eyewitnesses say that for months after the killings, the ground continued to spurt geysers of blood.”

Without supporting evidence, Wiesel wants us to believe that blood spurted out of the ground in geyser-like fashion for months, when no one has ever seen such an occurrence.

Yet in a third book, Legends of our time, Wiesel comes clean. In the introduction he writes about a conversation with the local rabbi:

“‘What are you writing?’ the Rebbe asked. “Stories,” I said. He wanted to know what kind of stories: true stories. “About people you knew?” Yes, about people I might have known. “About things that happened?” Yes, about things that happened or could have happened. “But they did not?” No, not all of them did. In fact, some were invented from almost the beginning to almost the end. The Rebbe leaned forward as if to measure me up and said with more sorrow than anger: “That means you are writing lies!” I did not answer immediately. The scolded child within me had nothing to say in his defense. Yet, I had to justify myself: “Things are not that simple, Rebbe. Some events do take place but are not true; others are—although they never occurred.”

What will the reaction of Ann Arbor students be, when they read of such an admission?

Thank you

As Herskovitz talked, six out of ten councilmen walked out. They only returned when he finished.

Herskovitz:

Councilwoman Lisa Disch seems to scold this writer in her comments following Public Commentary, but the sound quality appears insufficient for us to transcribe her words correctly […] And Linh Song, speaking right after Ms. Disch, vows to contribute $1,000 of her own money to Jewish Family Services every time a Holocaust revisionist dares address City Council with remarks that, as yet, remain unchallenged. Her words: “And I just want to, I will continue with my pledge every time a Holocaust Denier comes and gives public comments here, to give a thousand dollars. I’m happy to give that donation to an organization I love and to a community that still struggles with hate here.

Note to Ms. Song: if the Jewish community struggles with hate, maybe they should challenge their own leaders when they advocate hatred. Again, here’s Elie Wiesel: “Every Jew, somewhere in his being, should set apart a zone of hate—healthy, virile hate—for what the German personifies and for what persists in the German.

Quoting Elie Wiesel, an author who won the Nobel prize with his Holocaust lies, Herskovitz didn’t deny anything. He only pointed out Wiesel’s self-admitted mendacity. Cornered by a rabbi, Wiesel came up with this absurdity, “Some events do take place but are not true; others are—although they never occurred.”

As an Ann Arbor resident, Herskovitz has every right to question what Ann Arbor students are being taught, and if they’re brainwashed with monstrous lies from a world class fibber, it’s his responsibility to be outraged. Since these falsehoods shape their entire world view, they must not be taken lightly.

Knowing Ann Arbor’s political climate, Herskovitz tempered his words, so he only asked, “What will the reaction of Ann Arbor students be, when they read of such an admission?”

Still, Linh Song was quick to label Herskovitz a Holocaust denier, when, again, he didn’t deny anything, but only quoted from Elie Wiesel, a Holocaustal saint.

Born Jewish, Herskovitz had his awakening after a visit to Israel, where he saw what colonist Jews were doing to its Semitic natives.

No nations have more blood on their hands than the USA and Israel. Funded and backed by Americans, Jews massacre with impunity, and they even get away with butchering Americans directly, as with the USS Liberty.

Denied a chance to speak at his synagogue, Herskovitz started to protest outside it, and he hasn’t missed one Saturday in 22 years.

Judging by her name, Linh Song is Vietnamese. At her website, there’s this statement, “Ann Arbor is a community that attracts people from many different walks of life with its strong, progressive values, and rich history. My family and I chose Ann Arbor as our home but, in many ways, Ann Arbor chose us, beginning from when my husband and I were students at the University of Michigan.” They key phrase is “progressive values,” which she likely received in college.

Her ethnicity is almost irrelevant, for to be Western educated is to be inducted into Jewish thinking, that intolerant system of us against them, with unchecked rage and hatred triggered against those who don’t go along with your latest “progressive” agenda. Even many Arabs are infected with Jewish thinking.

Since Jews are a special, God-chosen race and blameless victims of the worst historical crimes, supposedly, whatever you say about them reveals your morality.

For goyim, though, Jewish thinking is slyly tailored, so all non-whites are lumped into this mythical “people of color,” with regional and historical animosities canceled or subsumed by their, supposedly, collective hatred of whites. Outside the brainfogged West, it doesn’t make sense, but so what? For enabling the Holocaust, whites are collectively guilty. They did nothing as Jewish blood geysered.

There are no illegal immigrants, only migrants or undocumented workers, so borders should be porous, if not open, and nationalism equals Fascism.

None of these truisms should be applied to Israel, of course, due to the Holocaust. To atone for standing by or perhaps cheering as countless Jewish babies were “thrown into the flames,” that Fascistic and racist state with fantastic border walls must be defended at all costs, even with your lives.

So what if you didn’t commit any Holocaust crime, only your great grandparents, even if they were Albanians, so nowhere near any German concentration camp. If you’re not a “person of color,” you’re guilty.

Many other Jews have lied about the Holocaust, but some, like that rabbi who questioned Wiesel, have punctured this outrageous myth. This is no idle debate, but a question of life and death, for millions if not billions. The phony Holocaust narrative has been used as a pretext and fuel for real holocausts, with two salient ones occurring right now.

On 11/10/21, the World Jewish Congress awarded Albert Bourla a Theodor Herzl Prize. Accepting it, Bourla said that the launching of his mRNA “vaccine” occurred on the same date as Kristallnacht, “the beginning of the Holocaust.”

Eighty-three years after that horror came “a day that will always be remembered as well, as an example of the hope that human ingenuity and determination can bring to the world.” Deftly, Bourla contrasted the world’s maliciousness toward Jews with Jewish magnanimity.

Since it’s undeniable Jewjabs have already massacred millions, Bourla’s linking of his deadly “vaccine” with the Holocaust must be read as a smirking declaration of revenge. Most deliciously, Bourla has also extracted billions of dollars from his victims.

A more localized holocaust is happening in Ukraine. Just eight days after Russia’s invasion on 2/24/22, a Jewish webzine, Tablet, had this article, “Jewish Ukraine Fights Nazi Russia.” Very neat, this simplification, with nothing said about the US instigated Orange Revolution, Victoria Nuland, NATO or Ukraine’s ongoing attacks on the Donbas. It’s just righteous us vs. evil them, a classic Jewish bifurcation.

A photo of President Zelensky, Chairman of the Verkhovna Stefanchuk and Minister of Defense Reznikov accompanied this article. All three are Jewish, as is Victoria Nuland, the leading US architect of this mass butchering of Slavs.

On 8/1/23, I received an email from Mark Ashwill:

Hi, Linh,

Greetings from Vietnam! I generally like your posts but can’t abide anti-Semitism: From behind the curtain, Jewish Victoria Nuland gets her revenge. On stage, Jewish Vladimir Zelensky becomes ever more insufferable. Some will let it slide, most will not.

If you know anything about me, you know that I call a spade a spade. You lost me (and other readers, I presume, except the anti-Semites) at Jewish Victoria and Jewish Vladimir (Volodymyr).

Thanks for your response.

MAA

Hanoi

So PC, Ashwill even corrected my spelling of Vladimir!

I’m glad Mark didn’t let me slide. I am returning the favor. To point out that Jews are the key architects of the Ukrainian war, as even Jewish Tablet has done, is to clearly see what’s happening. Anti-semitism has nothing to do with it.

Before America’s color revolution in Ukraine, there was a sizable Vietnamese population there. One of Ukraine’s richest men was a Vietnamese, Phạm Nhật Vượng [Фам Нят Выонг], the instant noodle king. Though most Vietnamese have left, there is still a huge Vietnamese Buddhist temple in Kharkov. Unlike Jews, Vietnamese never dominated the Ukrainian political landscape, but if they did, people would certainly have noticed. It’s only natural, then, to ask, “How did an obscene Jewish clown become the dictator of Ukraine?”

The greatest genocide justified by the phantasmagoric Holocaust is still to come, however, if we don’t stop it.

With Jews in key US posts and American politicians subservient to Jews, the US is not just risking nuclear war against Russia and China, but warring against its own people, by stripping them of basic liberties, impoverishing them, assaulting their minds and even killing them, through Jewjabs above all. Just as the Holocaust myth violates common sense, Jewish hatred transcends meaning. Genocidal by nature, it demands the bloodiest ending.

So unlike the Buddha, Yahweh inflicted pain on even the animals of despised populations. No universal god, the Jewish deity is strictly a tribal one.

Writing from Laos, I may be insane even, but have I wished for the murder of anyone? Far from it. I’ve only railed against genocides.

Let’s end, though, with a cheerful image. It’s of an American in Kiev, Graham Siebert, with eight Ukrainian women. Though taken in 2017, it’s posted (or reposted) by Siebert himself on 8/17/23, 18 months into a war that has killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian young men.

Even those who haven’t been killed or maimed are no longer free to jump up and down.

Dear Albi

As published at Unz Review, 5/29/21:

Borges and Bioy-Casares created a detective who solved crimes from a jail cell. Don Isidro Parodi could help others, but not extricate himself from a false accusation.

Removing themselves from the world, desert hermits were still sought out by those overwhelmed by day-to-day problems, whether financial, familial or perhaps even sexual.

Nathaniel West’s Miss Lonelyhearts is a confused and frustrated advice columnist who’s killed right after supposedly finding religion.

I thought of these curious examples because, recently, a 31-year-old wanted my guidance. Not the best idea, but sure, why not, so we chattered via Skype.

A Vietnamese-American married to a Filipina, he was pondering moving to Vietnam.

“How many times have you been there?” I asked.

“Actually, none.”

“Wow! Why not?”

“I never had the opportunity.”

“Have you traveled much?”

“No. I’ve only been to Canada.”

“Man, you’re in for a real culture shock. You might hate it! Just go there, and see how you feel. Who knows? Has your wife been to the Philippines?”

“A couple times.”

“Hey, why don’t you move to the Philippines? Your wife will fit in better, and you can get by with English. Many Filipinos speak English. They’re all over Asia, singing American music!” I laughed. “First, though, you must go there and see how you feel. Do you have money saved up to last a while?”

“Yeah.”

“You’re probably ten times richer than me, so just go there and see how you feel. Don’t overthink it. Just do it!”

Why would someone with a decent job in the federal government consider moving to a country he knows almost nothing about? Because there’s no sanity or security left in America, and no meaningful resistance. Constantly cowed, everybody is hiding and, hunched over, guarding his cans of baked beans, with the only boldness unleashed pseudonymously online, nearly always against the wrong targets. Unlike Hamas or Hezbollah, Americans don’t even know who they must fight!

How abject is this population that, at one time or another, has been well stoked to hate Japs, Krauts, Gooks, Ragheads, Russians or Chinese, etc., but dare not speak publicly against Jewish power, question outrageous Jewish lies, challenge the racist and genocidal Jewish mindset, or condemn Jewish crimes, even those it has suffered directly, to the point of near annihilation?

After I have written about Flannery O’Connor’s often grotesque depictions of poor whites, I got several incomprehensibly idiotic comments from whites, such as one by “Fr.John,” who accused me of displaying “a non-White’s racial animus to a culture he/she/it? can never be party to.

“Linh Dinh, you ain’t evah gonn’ be wha-yut.

“‘Ways that are Dark’… indeed.”

So even when I’m sympathetic towards whites, I’m accused of hating them, with my pity towards whites construed as my wanting to be white! White ways have become mucked up, indeed, to much Jewish laughter.

Although my “One Night in Amerika” was about Kukes and the infatuation many Albanians have for the USA, I received a bizarre diatribe from a white, “The Soft Parade,” about the Vietnam War, “Your new critique ridden life and cush career, Mr. Dinh, came at the deaths of sixty-eight thousand meaningless men whom your enlightened vietnamese profundity relegates to the errant fluff of a forgotten night in amerika. Indeed you came for ‘a better life’ at quite a low cost, a price that not one vietnamese much less thousands would ever pay on behalf of another. Ah how sweet it is, now that you’re far beyond your butcher brothers here in safety, courtesy of our dead who unlike you, had no reason to leave their country nor wanted to do so.

“Linh Dinh, the enlightened Penn State professor of divisional contempt, party while you got ’em !!”

For probing America’s political, economic and social collapse, and fingering the engineers of this destruction, I have gone from a published and anthologized author to one who survives on PayPal donations, yet I’m accused of having a “cush career” at the expense of dead Americans in Vietnam!

And the assertion that “not one vietnamese much less thousands would ever pay on behalf of another” is preposterously ignorant and sickeningly insulting considering all the Vietnamese soldiers who died during that civil war, at least 250,000 from the South, and up to a million from the North. As I’ve pointed out, they all died for Vietnam, that is, for other Vietnamese, and it’s thanks to this brave and selfless nationalism, there’s still an intact Vietnam, imperfect as it is, while America has been deformed into an unholy mess. Don’t even wave a fist at those responsible, however, but blame Mexican busboys, Muslim war refugees and, uh, me.

Mushy brained, The Soft Parade was only triggered by the title of my article, which he obviously didn’t read, yet his comment was endorsed by “TKK,” and I’m only bringing him up to show how Jews argue, for there’s a well-worn pattern.

By TKK’s own admission, only his father is Jewish, so he’s technically not Jewish, but blood is blood. Although Obama had a white mother, he was considered black, and saw himself as black. Further, it’s TKK’s stance towards Israel, and how he argues, that marks him as ultra kosher.

During Israel’s latest attack on Gaza, residential towers and even press offices were targeted. Since at least 254 Palestinians were murdered, including 66 children, there was much outrage, understandably, but to TKK, Palestinians are actually ingrates, since Jews do so much for them!:
Residents of Palestine receive free medical care, housing, cell phones and social services, but viciously hate the people that provide this largess.

It’s all sound and fury—these crocodile tears over Palestine—signifying nothing.

What population group does this mimic here in the USA?
To TKK, these Arabs should be grateful to Jews for their “housing” and cellphones, and ignore the fact that they have been invaded, kicked out of their homes, stripped of civil rights, when not shot or bombed by their Jewish benefactors.

And notice the last sentence, which equates Palestinians with American blacks. Knowing there’s much anti-black sentiment at Unz Review, TKK is inviting people to think of Palestinians as just troublesome pests, unable to help themselves, yet hating those who assist them. They’re just welfare queens, in short.

TKK thinks the same of me, “How is he different from a welfare queen who keeps a blog?”

As a Unz Review columnist, I average nearly 10,000 words each month. Since TKK shows up fairly regularly under my articles, he’s the beneficiary of my labor, for which he pays nothing, yet I’m the welfare queen! See the neat inversion? But that’s Jewish logic for you.

Palestinians who are abused, dispossessed and murdered by Jews should be grateful to Jews for helping them. A writer who’s read for free is accused of exploiting at least one indignant Jewish reader. The upheavals and bloodbaths Jews have brought to the Middle East become a Muslim terrorist problem.

Jewish orchestrated discrimination against whites is reframed as the stamping out of hateful white privileges and white supremacism. Jewish encouragement of the worst black traits is spun as Jewish social justice, to help the black man.

Jewish thinking, then, is the evil that must be eradicated, not biological Jews, of course. Born Jews, Ron Unz, Gilad Atzmon and Israel Shamir, to name three on this site, have purged themselves of that Talmudic madness, with its insanely racist arrogance and insatiable lust for revenge against the whole world, for we have all wronged sacred Jewry, if only for not obeying its diktats. Preaching diversity, Jews have the least tolerance for it.

In Ann Arbor, Michigan, Henry Herskovitz has staged a weekly protest outside his former synagogue for nearly 17 years. The ex-engineer’s awakening came after his retirement, when he saw how Palestinians were treated on his first trip to Israel. Joining Herskovitz are usually no more than half a dozen people, nearly all senior citizens. They have no careers or businesses for Jews to wreck. If you’re an academic at the U of Michigan, however, you better weep loudly, nonstop, at the Wailing Wall inside your Jew-screwed mind.

There’s no trick too dirty for organized Jewry, and there’s nothing to discuss, for it’s never done in good faith. With chronic liars, dissimulators, manipulators and hypocrites, no agreement is possible, for each promise will be broken. To those without shame or honor, even the most obvious truths can be denied.

“Something very evil is coming,” I wrote to a Pennsylvania acquaintance, “but it won’t just be in the US. In Albania, there won’t be race riots, at least, as stoked by the Jews. I don’t know what your work or family situation is, but it would be wise to at least think about leaving the country, just in case life there becomes too dangerous or just unbearable.

“You should also consider what to do should they shut down all airports and close all land borders. You can also escape to a safer and saner place inside the country, of course, but you must think ahead about the possibilities. This is not paranoia. All the ominous signs are there.

“In early March of 1975, I was still going to school and taking judo lessons. By the end of April, I was on a military transport plane to fly to Guam, where I would live in a tent as a refugee. Normality can disappear in a flash.”

His response, “I have thought long about where this is all headed. It is pretty obvious that the US is fucked five ways to Sunday. The masses just haven’t figured it out and are slowly cottoning on.

“You asked about my family and work situation. I work in the construction field doing semi-skilled labor and maintenance and have started learning HVAC over the last couple years.

“I’ve been with the same woman for about 13 years. We aren’t legally married but own a house together. I love her and her family very much. Her mother is widowed and in her 70’s. She has an aunt and uncle that live up the road from us. We look out for them a bit too.

“At this point it’s hard seeing a way out. I’ve known a lot of people over the years that have had to flee. I’m old enough to have met Polish and Ukrainians that got out during or right after the War to Save Stalin. Same with people such as yourself. While traveling through Vietnam, I met old ARVN guys who stayed and were ‘reeducated.’ Certainly do not envy them.

“Lancaster is a great town. However we did not escape the peace riots of this past summer. This area has been overrun by New York ‘creatives’ and their pets, the various lumpen proles that have moved down because the welfare benefits are good and the Section 8 voucher goes further.

“The city council mayor and head of police are all avowed BLM and Antifa supporters. In essence I am behind enemy lines.

“My lady is pretty level-headed and no dummy as far as certain non-PC topics are concerned. Working in health care and moving from small town PA to Baltimore will do that, I guess.

“However she is reticent to leave the familiarity of family and friends for more rural, less populated areas. Ironic because most of her family and social circle are essentially on board with the whole raft of neo-Bolshevik BS that is being churned out by the multinationals and Zionist Occupied Government...

“At the end of the day, I don’t see any real way to get out from under the falling limbs of this dying empire. If I were single, I would be holed up somewhere in the mountains of Appalachia. Possibly west Texas. Maybe overseas.”

Although fleeing abroad entails its own complicated and drawn-out set of problems, just about every nationality, save Americans, have had to do so during the last 100-odd years. I’ve fled twice, and am still drifting.

Before I forget, I must insert this erratum. (Don’t worry, it won’t hurt.) A month ago, I wrote that many nationalities can enter Albania without a visa, and stay up to a year, but I was dead wrong. Only Americans can do so. Most visa-free visitors are only allowed 90 days, with some, such as South Koreans, alloted just a month. Extrapolating from my own case, I overlooked my American privilege. Sorry about that.

As I’ve said many times, it’s good to be here. Now that it’s warmer, however, there are many more tourists in Albania. Recently, I’ve run into those who were simply too white, yellow or black to be Albanians, and of course, their facial features were also extraneous, if not offensive, to this landscape. As a long-time resident of Tirana, I certainly don’t welcome this, for these aliens dilute from my Albanian experience. They befoul my Albanian soul! I long for the Albania of, uh, 14 weeks ago, when I first arrived. Who can deny that the air was fresher and cleaner then, and the streets freer of foreign garbage?

It's time for a $2 beer the size of a small pitcher. I can unwind during the long, leisurely walk down that way, past Café Flora, Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bej Mosque and George W. Bush Street. On Luigj Gurakuqi, there’s a spartan, two-story café stacked with solemn, dignified old men. Glorious women, some already fading or bent, bravely or blithely, stroll by, like a vintage film.

Writing is like a cage fight with yourself, and again, I’ve managed to submit myself. As the smirking ref raises my hand, crumpled cups rain on my head. Until the next time, mirupafshim!

Henry Herskovitz writes from Ann Arbor:

"If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this one should suffice to express the dedication of a few peace activists in Ann Arbor. Here we have Vigiler G, doing what she does best: braving the elements to take our simple messages to the motoring public."

G Dedicated

Even if hell freezes over, the US won't cease to be a tool of Israel, I'm afraid.

Postcard from the End of America: Ann Arbor

As published at Unz Review and Intrepid Report, 3/14/17:

Say Ann Arbor and people will think of Michigan football, with the second biggest stadium in the entire world, behind only North Korea’s Rungrado May Day Stadium. The annual marijuana rally, Hash Bash, may also come to mind.

Downtown is filled with hip cafés, trendy shops, comfy brewpubs and sophisticated restaurants. These kids have money, I thought as I roamed around, searching for cheap beer. In-state tuition, in turns out, is $28,776, and out of state is $59,784. Michigan has plenty of international students, most notably Chinese.

At Curtain Call, the 30-something bartender, Chris, was from Hawaii. Her dad owned a Maui bar close enough to the beach for surfers to down a few at dawn before hitting the waves. Sounded like paradise. Chris couldn’t work for her old man, however, because he was so cheap, so she ended slinging beer in Ann Arbor. Chris had originally gone there to study biochemistry at the university.

This was her first Friday night off in eleven year, Chris confessed, “I don’t know what to do with myself.”

“You should go somewhere and drink.”

“It’s been eleven years since I can do that!”

“That’s interesting.”

“For me, it doesn’t matter if it’s one drink or ten drink, I’ll still get a headache in the morning.”

“You should drink ten then!”

We laughed.

Jewish, Chris told me Ann Arbor’s best deli was Zingerman’s.

In my late 20’s, I took a girl to a Philly diner. I ordered chicken liver, a favorite to this day. Maria looked at me in horror, “What the fuck are you eating?! Chicken shit?!”

Did I tell you that Jews have been most instrumental in my life? In college, my three most supportive professors, Boris Putterman, Stephen Berg and Eileen Neff, were Jews, with Berg and Neff practically my surrogate parents, they nurtured me so much. Berg bought a painting of mine to put over his fireplace, and lent me money several times. My fiction publisher, Dan Simon, is Jewish, and Jewish Ron Unz has treated me better than any other webzine editor. Novelist Matthew Sharpe has talked me up in the fiction world. I can go on and on. Hell, my first date was with a Jewish girl, and I even lost my virginity to a Jew! I traveled through remote northwest Vietnam with photographer Mitch Epstein, and with 6-9 Lloyd Luntz, explored the Mekong Delta. Jews swarm me, fill my head, course through my veins. I can go on and on.

My next time at Curtain Call, I chatted with a 28-year-old who wished he was 25. “My last birthday, I said it was the 3rd anniversary of my 25th.”

Overhearing this, a guy down the bar shouted, “I wish I was 50!”

Another old head jumped in, “I wish I was 60!”

With two friends threatening suicide, I brought up the topic to this just-arrived, incipient man who’s already mourning his lost youth. “Don’t do it before you’re 50!” I joked.

Outside the Federal Building on Liberty Street, I ran into two people protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. Their signs, “I STAND WITH STANDING ROCK,” “CAN’T DRINK OIL / WATER IS LIFE / #NODAPL” and “BE A TSUNAMI,” among others.

Jeff’s a retired lawyer, and Mary’s a former elementary school teacher who worked at Crazy Wisdom, a tea room and bookstore. This month’s book picks include Mediumship: An Introductory Guide to Developing Spiritual Awareness and Intuition, Magicians of the Gods: Fingerprints of the Gods, Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin and The Education of Will: a Mutual Memoir of a Woman and her Dog.

I asked what they were about. Jeff, “If you feel connected to Mother Earth, then you’re going to protect Mother Earth, and you’re going to relate to the Native Americans, and what they stand for. We don’t own any of this. We think we own it, but that’s an illusion.”

Ellen, “People will say I’m not doing it, but we’re all one, so we are all doing it. We live in homes that use electricity and gas. The America first mindset has been going on for a while. Not enough of us realize that we are one with the rest of the world. If they starve, so do we. Our hearts do, even if our bodies are not. I feel responsible for the world.”

“So what are you doing personally to help?” I asked.

“Personally, I am keeping my temperature lower. I’m using less water. I am signing every petition that comes my way that I believe in. I’m contributing money to the bigger organizations that I feel can, perhaps, get their voice heard more than I can.

“So many people don’t know any different, and so they assume that everything they’re doing is fine. Many people don’t know that a lot of people in the world are suffering. They just don’t understand, and if they do know, they don’t care. It’s not their own family.

“My own stepson and his family, they work at home, they love their children, they’re good people, but he says, ‘This is my world.’ It’s his home and his family.”

Jeff, “I think the culture is so isolating. You get in your car and you drive around. You look at your phone all day. We do things that separate us, you know.

“Look where we are, close to Detroit, where they make automobiles. For me, I don’t particularly enjoy driving around in a car all day.”

I brought up the election. Ellen, “What happened is a huge amount of people who felt like they didn’t have a voice, and it was a contemptuous voice, were given it by he who should not be president. And, they feel really good now, but nothing is really going to happen for them, but they were heard. To be heard is going to be enough for them for a while.

“I do yoga with a quite introspective man, and he thinks something went wrong with America this time. It’s been building up, and I’ll admit that Hillary was a part of it too, but this election is proof positive that we are fucked!”

Jeff, “People need to speak up, and not be afraid to speak up, you know, whatever their conscience is. I’m not a fan of the media at all. People will try to steer you in their direction. You need the courage to stand alone and be a voice, a different voice. It takes courage to do it.”

Ellen, “It does, it does, and courage isn’t something Americans have in huge, ah, commodity.”

College towns proliferate in approved political statements, so in Ann Arbor, I saw a “Black Lives Matter” banner at a church, “Black Lives Matter” signs outside homes, a rainbow flag in front of a church with “God is still speaking” and a “WITH ISRAEL WE STAND” sign at a liquor store, etc. A house displayed a “PEACE” rainbow flag and a bed sheet painted with “WE SUPPORT OUR MUSLIM NEIGHBORS.”

Nowhere did I see “STOP BOMBING MUSLIMS,” “STOP SUPPORTING THE TERROR STATE OF ISRAEL” or “STOP SLANDERING AND PROVOKING RUSSIA.”

A progressive American is mostly a jerked puppet that’s outraged solely at preselected triggers. At his Deir Yassin Remembered website, long time Ann Arbor resident Henry Herskovitz explains:

Jackie Robinson and Jewish Power

Emotions naturally flare at watching the PBS special shown on MLK day of the career of baseball icon Jackie Robinson. Who could not grow emotional when reminded that Jackie and wife Rachel were bumped twice from the planes carrying them to a spring training camp in Florida? What outrage is felt by viewers recognizing that this discrimination they experienced came merely because of the color of their skin and nothing else!

Yes, we get it. And we feel for the Robinsons; their plight was genuine. Racial discrimination still exists in America.

But what about Muhammed Ali, my friend and sandwich shop operator in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus, Palestine? Muhammed grew up in Haifa, graduated high school there and earned a technical degree before being bumped, not just from an airplane, but from his home town. Yes, he cannot return to Haifa and swim in the Mediterranean the way his family did before him. He cannot even travel to the Haram esh-Sharif/Noble Sanctuary to practice his religion. Like Jackie Robinson, Muhammed is the wrong “color”: neither ethnic Jew, secular Jew, nor religious Jew.

Isn’t there a story here as well, PBS? Perhaps even more compelling than Robinson’s, because Muhammed has yet to break his “color” barrier. Hello, Hollywood, isn’t his story worthy—at least—of a two-hour documentary?

Born Jewish, Herskovitz soured on his tribe after a trip to Israel. He saw firsthand the gross brutality of the illegally founded terror state. Back in Ann Arbor, Herskovitz wanted to give a presentation to his synagogue, Beth Israel, but the rabbi nixed the idea. Outraged, Herskovitz has staged an anti-Israel protest outside Beth Israel each Saturday for 13+ years. Though Herskovitz loves to ride his motorcycle long distance, he always comes back in time to stand with his signs. A small band join him.

Last year, I visited Herskovitz at home and saw anti-Israel messages everywhere, including on the salt shaker, the fridge, the garage and even the fireplace’s ember screen. To some neighbors’ dismay, Herskovitz paid to have "STOP US AID TO ISRAEL" and "LIBERATE PALESTINE / END ISRAEL" incised into the sidewalk outside his house.

Herskovitz routinely wears an anti-Israel T-shirt and baseball cap, and on his car are several anti-Israel stickers.

In 2015, Herskovitz and his allies paid for a billboard in Detroit, “AMERICA FIRST NOT ISRAEL.” Herskovitz:

The strategy behind this billboard’s statement, ‘America First, Not Israel’, is to drive a wedge between those who feel American interests are not served by fighting wars for Israel, and the Israel-firsters in this country who manipulate our leaders into the false premise that Israel is the ally of the United States.

Charges of anti-semitism quickly flooded in, and the message was taken down, so it was put up at another, more out of the way spot, until this second billboard company was also pressured to remove it. Henry:

Jewish Power Never Sleeps

Like Michigan rust on vehicles, Jewish Power remains relentless at getting its way. Just when Witness for Peace was to announce the installation of a local billboard—sponsored by sister organization Deir Yassin Remembered and carrying our message “America First, Not Israel”—we get “the call”. The billboard […] was taken down by Adams Outdoor Advertising one week after installation, effectively terminating a three-month contract.

That’s how long it took for Jewish Power to pressure Adams’ executives into seeing things their way. The call came from General Manager Mike Cannon, who admitted to receiving phone calls asking that the billboard be taken down. Mike claimed he was not the one who made the decision, and provided the phone number of Vice President of Human Resources Brian Grant to field my questions.

Brian developed a mantra for the conversation we shared: “the decision to remove the billboard was a collective decision and was made because the message did not meet Adams’ company standards. We removed the billboard and refunded your money. And that’s all I can say.” Brian fell back on this mantra at least a half dozen times during our 20-minute discussion. And reminded me that, since a clause in the contract allowed Adams to terminate at any time, there was no “breach of contract”.

Q: What were the company standards?
A: [Brian was not going to go into that.]
Q: How do you square the fact that the message was initially approved by Adams?
A: It should not have been approved; due diligence was not applied.
Q: Who were the people complaining about the billboard?
A: [Would not answer that.]
Q: What were the organizations calling for the billboard to be taken down?
A: [See above.]
Q: Would the decision to pull the billboard have been the same had the message been simply America First?
A: Well, you’re asking a hypothetical.
Q: You mean Adams would NOT run a billboard saying America First?
A: [No answer.]

And so it goes. By deception shall you make war. DYR and WfP lose the round; Jewish Power wins. We move on.

When Russia Today reported on this billboard controversy, the first commenter said, “Calling Americans to put interest of America ahead of Isreal is branded as anti semitic ? That goes to prove how much the zionist wants the americans to be brain dead!”

Brainwashed, Americans also cringe at “Jewish power,” but it’s OK to declare and celebrate “black power,” “Latino power,” “gay power” or “women’s power,” etc. Aren’t AIPAC, the flushing of the U.S.S. Liberty down the memory hole, the abject kowtowing of DC politicians to Tel Aviv and our endless war against Israel’s enemies all examples of Jewish power?

But you’re dead wrong, anti-semite! As eternal victims everywhere, Jews are always powerless, so only Jew haters would dare to suggest otherwise.

“Are you a Jew hater?” I asked Herskovitz. His answer:

“Hate” is a term used by my opponents, not by me. “Hate speech” is used by the Hasbara folks as an epithet thrown at their perceived enemies. Like “Holocaust Denier,” the users of these terms do not define them, but merely slime those whose voices they want to silence. I’m a “hater” because Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center says I am. Could Mr. Potok be a child molester because I make the claim?

I try not to play defense. My experience in these matters tells me that once I start down the slippery slope of “denial,” or defending my position, this tactic merely fuels opponents’ appetite for further questions. It answers nothing. The best defense is a good offense.

Even if I were to admit a hatred of an ethnic/religious group, an interesting question arises. Assume this group was Irish Protestants, and I said I hated them. Who would care? But admitting to hating Jews is another story altogether. Perhaps the phrase “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize” makes sense when used in this context.

And the question becomes rather ludicrous when you consider that I love my sister, her children and grandchildren; ditto for my Virginia cousins, their children and grandchildren. I’m even scheduled to attend a Bat Mitzvah of one of these kids this summer. If you were to tell this group I’m a Jew hater, you would not be believed.

So no, Herskovitz has no beef with ordinary Jews, or he would have to disown his entire family, but haven’t Jewish policy makers, media masters, opinion shapers and bankers used their disproportionate sway over the makeup and direction of this country to harm not just their Muslim enemies, but ordinary Americans?

In putting up the billboard, “AMERICA FIRST / NOT ISRAEL,” Herskovitz merely wants our country to serve its own citizens, and not be distorted, corrupted, discredited and destroyed by a foreign agenda, and I, as an American, can’t help but concur.

Obscured American: Rudy the Retired Math Professor

As published at CounterCurrents, Unz Review and Intrepid Report, 8/15/16:

Rudy List

Though each life is rich, some are staggeringly so. Over four days in July, I had a series of conversations with Rudy List at his house in Dexter, Michigan. A 74-year-old retired math professor, Rudy introduced me to Hua Luogeng, Zitang Zhang and Terence Tao. In return, I told him about Otto Dix, Cindy Sherman, Honey Boo Boo and Jerry Springer. It was certainly not fair trade.

In Rudy’s kitchen, an aging, sick dove cooed. Across the road, field corn grew. No sounds of cars, crickets or cicadas wafted through the open windows, only late summer weather. Darkness came. As we talked for hours, Rudy’s Hong Kong-born wife pretty much left us alone. A realtor, she had enough on her mind.

How can you tell if a mathematician is extroverted? As he’s talking to you, he’ll look at your shoes instead of his shoes!

My father started out plastering houses, but he was not a very big man, so when he was 30, he decided he wouldn’t last as a plasterer, the work was just so heavy. He became a machinist.

My father worked at Bay City Power Shovels for 25 years until the company fell apart. He spent a couple of years unemployed, then got hired by a place that made molds for casting.

When my mother got engaged to my father, she said, “I don’t want an engagement ring. I want a house,” so they built a house. I’ve lived in many houses and several countries, but this house we had in Bay City will always be home.

In elementary school, I learnt of Pythagoras' Theorem. I was so fascinated by it that I drew a chalk drawing of its diagram on the basement wall of this house. It was still there 40 years later, in 1994.

Neither one of my parents went to a university. My mother never even went to high school. Her parents were illiterate. My mother was so poor growing up, she often ate bread with lard. She had 11 brothers and sisters.

From the age of 16, my mother was a hairdresser. She ultimately started her own business and had a very loyal following. I think her customers came for the conversations as much as anything else. My mother very forcefully supported her political views.

My father’s first language was German. He didn’t learn English until he went to school. When I was a child, we would all go to my grandparents’ house at Christmas to sing carols in German and eat traditional German food. My mother also spoke some German.

When I was about six or seven, I remember my grandmother cautioning my grandfather that he should speak English outside the house. It was two or three years after the war, and there was a lot of sentiment, still, against the Germans.

When I was in 5th or 6th grade, I wanted to learn how to read and write German. Since I went to a German Lutheran school, all the teachers knew German. A couple of other kids and I asked Mr. Ring if he would teach German to us after school. Mr. Ring was overjoyed.

I went home and told my mom, “We’re going to learn German in school.”

“Das ist gut!”

Within three weeks, a petition went around that said, “This is America. We speak English,” so our German lessons were shut down.

I got my master’s in mathematics from the University of Michigan, then my PhD from the University of Birmingham, where I also taught. I spent 19 years in England altogether. I also taught for a year in Iraq.

Before I started at the University of Mosul, I went to Iran to see a British friend, John. Shortly before I arrived, John’s wife was raped by an Iranian employee, a guy who came by each day to clean up.

The Iranians take things like that very seriously. They locked the rapist in a small cage that was just tall enough for him to stand in, and they didn’t give him food or water. His family came by to feed him, of course, but he was kept in the sun as it got up to 120 degrees. Only John could spare him.

His family went to John’s house each day to plead, but John would just spit at them. After several days in the hot sun, the man died. I didn’t like anything about that situation. I wouldn’t have let the guy die.

John is a complex person. Working in the oil industry, he was in Peru and on the Red Sea with a bunch of American rednecks. He got to know them pretty well. One night, they showed home movies of themselves hunting Indians. They killed the indigenous people, and had movies of themselves doing it.

The guy sitting here showing the movie is the guy in the movie, shooting the person.

I said, “So John, what did you do?!”

He said, “I didn’t do anything. We were on an oil platform, in the middle of the Red Sea.”

This is the sort of shit we don’t know about. You’ll never read it anywhere, but John had all kinds of stories. It’s almost like a government cover-up. You just don’t say anything.

Leaving Iran, I hitchhiked from Ahvaz to the Iraqi border. After I showed my papers at the Iranian checkpoint, I walked across the no man’s land separating Iran from Iraq. There were machine guns on either side trained on each other. It was the loneliest two hundred yards I’ve ever walked. Either side could have shot me and blamed it on the other.

The guy on the Iraqi side stamped my passport, then went back to fingering his worry beads. There were two taxis nearby, I don’t know why, because there were no travelers. A driver approached and quoted a price, but it was way too high, so I kept walking. I didn’t know how to bargain. Basra was only 15 miles away, but it was 105, and in the desert. After I had walked about 50 yards, the driver ran after me and gave me a fairer price. He even bought me lunch.

The Basra bus station was just a big, unpaved lot with various sorts of vehicles. Some of them looked like school buses here, but they’re all beat up, and they carried anything, including goats and chickens. After half an hour or so, I found one that was going to Baghdad. I also learned the words for “this” and “that” in the process.

The first thing that happens when you get on a bus is they offer you water. They know you need water. Everybody needs water.

They had this big cistern, right near the front of the bus, with a big dipper. The driver offered me water, so I drank it then sat down. While waiting, I watched others board. After drinking, each said “shukran,” so, belatedly, I said “shukran” to the driver.

I got along fine in Iraq. There was never any problem, except for one time. I was walking down the street, smoking, and this guy just started yelling. He pointed at me and looked really angry, so I thought, Oh, he wants a cigarette!

I took out my pack and offered him one, but this only made him angrier. He yanked the cigarette from my mouth, threw it on the ground then stomped on it. That’s when I realized, It’s Ramadan! You’re not supposed to smoke during Ramadan.

It remains the most memorable year of my life. I learnt more in Iraq than anywhere else. It was just a fascinating place, with very old things everywhere. I saw so much that has been destroyed.

Living among Muslims, I knew it wasn’t a good idea to say you didn’t believe in God. The first time someone asked me about my religion, I said I don’t believe in God, I don’t think there is a God. This made them very upset. They were frightened. Like, how can that be? No, no!

Some of my students asked what religion I was? They asked if I believed in the Messiah? I just said, “Yeah, that’s what I believe.”

I lived with an American in an apartment we rented from a goldsmith. My roommate, Alan, also taught at the university. He was a writer of some sort. I can’t remember what the occasion was, but Alan went to Iran for a week, and when he came back, I found him lying on my bed.

Alan always slept stark naked, so there he was, stark naked, on my cot. He said, “Oh, you’ve got to help me.”

Alan had stitches in his face, arms, chest and back, all over. I said, “What happened to you?”

He said, “While I was over there, I had a nightmare. I saw two men in my room, and they were going to attack me, so I jumped through the window.”

Alan was on the second floor. After he landed, he just started running, all bloody and naked. He had no idea where he was.

When the cops came, they couldn’t understand Alan, so they made him jog alongside them, all bloody and naked, back to the police station. They didn’t want to get blood in their car.

At the station, there was someone who understood English, so they took Alan to the hospital, finally. There, they put all these stitches on him, but without anesthesia.

A month later, I heard this terrible rampage coming from his room. I jumped out of bed.

“What’s going on?”

“There are two men in my room!”

I switched on the light, looked around. Alan had knocked over his table. A bottle of ink had splashed all over. His bed was upside down. His books were everywhere.

I didn’t like this situation very much, so I moved, and that’s when I met this Iraqi family. The government was building these cement houses that looked like bunkers, and people from the villages were paid to watch the construction sites. They lived in these tents.

There was an old woman and her two children, Fatih and Aziza, and there was Najma, Aziza’s six-year-old daughter. Najma means “star” in Arabic.

I started to talk to them a bit, then I started to eat dinner with them.

Kids, they’ll repeat a word as many times as you want, so I taught Najma English, and I learnt Arabic from her.

One day, I asked Aziza, “Where do you get your food?”

“Ah, the people around, they have leftovers, so they give them to us.”

By this time, I was speaking Arabic fairly well. You know how to learn a language. Just learn the nouns, nouns, nouns. The connectors will come. They’ll tell you when you’re using them wrong.

I told Aziza, “Look, how about this, I’ll buy you the food, you cook it, and we all eat it together?”

I became Abu Lahm, The Father of Meat. I’d go with Aziza, or sometimes just Najma, to the market, and we’d say, “We want this, and we want that.” Quite often there was a shortage of things, but we always came back with something to eat.

Once, I went with Najma to get some kebabs, and as we were talking to the kebab seller, some guy came up and said to Najma, “Who is this? What is he doing with you?”

She said, “He’s my uncle.”

I felt slightly threatened, because it could have gone the wrong way. I did make a note, not to go to town alone with Najma ever again.

I noticed Aziza’s eyes were slightly bulging, so I looked at her throat, and it was bulging, so I thought, Goiter!

Iraq had a national health service, and it was totally free, so we went to the hospital. It’s nothing like a hospital here. People were sitting on the floor, and some of them were even cooking. It might not have been very hygienic but, Jesus, it was sure comfortable in terms of social interactions. They all got to know each other. We can learn from this.

We went into this office where there was a doctor sitting behind a desk, looking important. He spoke to me in English, “What are you here for?”

“I think she’s got goiter.”

“What is she to you?”

“She’s my friend.”

“She’s an ignorant peasant.”

“Well, she’s my friend!”

When I was in university, I lived in a co-op, and we had people from all over the world. Indians, Arabs, Chinese, Africans. I loved it, I absolutely loved it. One of the guys, Afif, was a Palestinian from Lebanon. He told me how Arabs interact. He said, “Every Arab thinks of himself as an independent country! If he yells, you shouldn’t worry, but when an Arab gets really quiet, that’s when you should worry.

In the doctor’s office, I raised my voice a bit, so the guy raised his voice. I pounded my fist on the table and said, “I think she has goiter! She needs treatment! She needs to be looked at!”

He looked at me, “OK,” then he said, “We don’t have enough blood. If we’re going to work on her, we need somebody to contribute a pint of blood.”

So I gave a pint that day. I had never done this before. Watching this thing fill up, I thought, Jesus, I hope they remember to pull out the needle!

Done, I walked out. Aziza asked me, “Did you do it?” I said, “Yeah.” There were all these people milling about, conversing. Aziza announced to everybody at the top of her voice, “He gave blood for me! He gave blood for me!” They all looked and clapped. Whoaaah! I became an instant hero!

There was a solar eclipse that year and Aziza got really, really scared. She had no idea what was going on. I tried to explain what was happening, but Aziza wasn’t having any of it. She had no idea there were planets. Aziza knew there was the sun, and it came up each morning. She was back before Copernicus’ time.

After the sun came back out, Aziza started smiling again after a while.

I had friends up and down the scale. I knew a guy who worked at the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission. I had met Imad Khadduri in Ann Arbor. When I taught at the University of Birmingham, Imad was there for his PhD in nuclear engineering. For his last six months there, he stayed at my house. Imad is retired now. He has a website that keeps tracks of what’s going on in Palestine.

In Baghdad, I stayed at Imad’s dad’s house and, later, after he got married, at his house.

Arabs give things away. I actually found out I had to be careful, because if I said something was nice, they would offer it to me. It’s really true.

I asked my old landlord to help me buy a coat. He said, “OK, I’ll take you,” so we went out, and he pulled his gate down halfway. He had a bunch of gold in there.

As he walked off, I said, “What about that? It’s open.”

“Oh, no worries, the others will watch it for me.”

Around Christmas of 1974, I visited Lebanon with my friend, Stanley Hoo. Beirut was absolutely beautiful then. We stayed with a friend of ours in Sabra, one of those places that was destroyed in one of those wars in the 80’s. Shatila Massacre, I know exactly where that is.

Once, as we were walking from central Beirut back to Sabra, Stan said to me, “We’re being followed.”

I looked back and there were these two young guys, maybe 18, 19, and they were just walking behind us. They got closer and closer, then they got right up to us and said, “Where are you going?”

We showed them the address. They said, “Follow us.”

They took us down this little street. Stan said to me, “I don’t think this is going to work out too well.”

They took us into this garage. There was a jeep with a heavy caliber machine gun on the back of it. They opened a door to this office. There was a guy sitting behind a desk, and a guy standing by the wall with a machine gun. There was just one light bulb hanging from the ceiling.

They said, “We would like to ask you some questions.”

“OK.”

“First, where are your passports?”

We show them our passports. Stan’s Chinese. He was carrying an American passport.

“Where are you coming from?”

“England.”

They interrogated us for a while. We explained that we were visiting our friend, Mohammad. Finally, I said, “Please, call this number. Call him up, and he’ll explain.”

The guy finally did that. I said to Stan, “Should we just make a run for it?”

“We’d get killed for sure.”

They brought Mohammad to the garage. His wife was actually an assistant to Yasser Arafat and in the PLO. After everything was cleared up, the guy behind the desk said, “I’m sorry we gave you any trouble, but we have to be careful.”

These were your terrorists! That’s not true. They’re not terrorists! They were just trying to defend their land and get their property back. It’s what anybody would do.

I also visited a refugee camp in Tyre. It had been shelled by ships, probably Israeli, but using American weapons. Somewhere around here I have a piece of shrapnel, about that long, that I picked up in Tyre. It killed somebody.

In 1980, I went to Zambia to teach for six month. Three weeks after my arrival, the university shut down because of political turmoil, so I had nothing to do.

What I saw was not all that distinctive from the United States. Lusaka is a big city. You have people driving around, people going to work, people going to medical school, people working in the university. What I saw was not that different than what I saw here.

But I saw, in addition, people who were still living in a traditional lifestyle, out in the bush. They live in these grass huts. They lock their door by putting a branch or a twig across it. They brew beer out there, and it gets pretty strong, and it’s not clear, like the beer here. They don’t filter it. It has a lot of yeast in it.

You see women walking down the road, with a stack that high on their heads, and it doesn’t move. I heard a guy say, “Well, women’s heads are made for carrying things, but men’s shoulders are.” It wasn’t like men’s heads are made for thinking or anything.

I got a bit enamored of a secretary in the mathematics department, so I visited her at her house. The next day, she said, “You should not come again.” She explained that such and such a guy, a Zambian, was after her, so he would cast a spell on me and I would die.

I told my friend, Ben, about this, and he said that if he went to work and saw a dead chicken on his desk, he would just go home.

“Why?”

“Nobody should be expected to work if he finds a dead chicken on his desk.”

So you have primitive people and non-primitive people in Zambia. It’s a funny mix. The people at the university were not primitive in a sense that, at least on a rational plane, they were mostly like me, but the dean of the faculty of science, the first time he ever wore shoes was at his graduation from college.

For the most part, the people at the highest strata were posing as sophisticated Europeans. They had all studied there.

I went to Ben’s house for lunch. There was a huge, empty field across from it. Two kids came in, they were maybe ten. They said there was a dead woman out in the field.

It was raining. We walked out and saw this woman, dead, obviously raped and murdered the night before, and left in the field. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

We took my Land Rover to the police station to give a report. The guy said, “Well, we have no car available to go and look.”

I said, “There has been a murder there. You’re supposed to investigate.”

“Well, you know, we can’t get anybody to go.”

“Give me somebody, and I’ll take him there!”

They found a photographer to come with us. We watched him daintily, daintily tread across the wet ground, so he could take a picture. That’s it. I don’t know how long she lay there.

This astonished me. I didn’t know this kind of thing could happen.

After I had returned to England, Ben wrote to say hi, and he said, “By the way, two months later, I found another dead person.”

Apparently, these women had taken buses from the villages to Lusaka. After they had hired a taxi at the bus station, the driver just raped and murdered them.

By 2001, I was back in Michigan and working for Lockwood Financial, a company I co-founded. On 9/11, I called Paul, a coworker, and he said, “Do you know what’s going on?”

“What’s going on?”

“Go watch a TV.”

I told him I didn’t have a TV, so he said, “Go find one.”

I went to this co-op not far from where I lived. There were about ten guys watching one of the World Trade towers burning. I looked at it. Then the fuckin’ thing collapsed! What the fuck is this?!

Bin Laden, fuckin’ Bin Laden, I wanted to kill Arabs now. What the fuck is going on?! I wanted to go and kill the people who did this.

Later, I heard about the beheading of a guy from Hillsdale, Michigan, not far from here, so I found a YouTube of it. I watched this guy cut the head off, then put it on the man’s back, and I just got sick. I was so overcome by feelings of hate, despair, anxiety, I had to leave the house. How do you process this?

In early 2003, Lockwood Financial had been sold, and I got some money, so I met with a banker. After we talked for a while, we went to lunch. I brought up 9/11 and said some hateful things about the Afghans and Bin Laden, so he said, “You know, three buildings collapsed at the World Trade Center that day.”

I said, “Why don’t I know that?”

He said, “It’s because nobody will say anything. They don’t want you to know.”

At home, I got on the internet and saw Building 7 falling down. I had seen controlled demolitions, and this was controlled demolition. Everybody in the world who sees this will say that it is controlled demolition, so we must do something, but it doesn’t work that way.

I started doing research. In 2005, Loose Change came out. I looked at that and thought, OK, this is going to convince anybody, so I phoned my brother. I said, “Paul, 9/11 was an inside job.”

He’s like, “What?!”

“It’s not what you think it is.”

“I can’t believe that. They wouldn’t do that to their own people.” Standard argument.

“Look, I’m sending you this video. Watch it and make up your own mind.”

Next day Paul called and said, “We’re all fucked.”

There is no way the official story is true. We’re all fucked.

I became obsessed by 9/11. I watched and read everything I could. Everything that has happened since 9/11 appeals to that, and it’s all false.

After I looked at Building 7, I went back and looked at the other two towers, and I thought, Of course, they’re not collapsing! They’re exploding! What’s wrong with me?! Look at that shit flying out!

I’m going to get a bit technical here. Bear with me. During an unassisted gravitational collapse of a structure, the loss of gravitational potential energy is equal to the gain in kinetic energy. After the collapse has finished, all the potential energy the structure had before the collapse has been converted to kinetic energy, and a re-organization of a part of the universe has taken place. The assumption that destruction of the towers was simply a gravitational collapse implies that the totality of the driving force causing the collapse was pointing down. Since a massive amount of debris was thrown in trajectories arcing up and out at up to 70mph, the question arises: What potential energy was the source of that kinetic energy?

In 2010, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth had reached a thousand signatures, so they scheduled a press conference in San Francisco. I flew there to attend it. I wanted to see what would happen when the press get there, what would they do? Well, the press didn’t show up!

I did get to meet Richard Gage and David Ray Griffin.

By 2008, I had discovered Christopher Bollyn. He had written about 9/11 from the beginning, and Bollyn pointed to Israel. I thought, What does Israel have to do with this? I kept denying this for about a year, but what Bollyn was talking about, I was able to verify from many other sources. Bollyn was telling the truth.

I don’t want to be anti-Semitic, I thought. I don’t want to be thought of as anti-Semitic. You go through these stages, you know. Here I am trying to find out the truth, and I’m worried about being anti-Semitic?! It doesn’t make sense! The evidence points there, so that’s where I have to go.

It is the Israelis, with complicit elements in our government, which by that time I realized was run by Jews. I got onto the Zionist project. I thought, It has got to be Israeli intelligence, and American intelligence, together, running this operation. There’s no way around it.

In 2010, I met Henry Herskovitz at a protest against the bombing of Iran. I had read about Henry, the most vilified and hated person in Ann Arbor. Each Saturday for 13 years now, Henry leads a vigil outside the Beth Israel Synagogue. I joined him, and the more I went, the more I realized that what he was doing was very courageous and the right thing to do.

Muslims are bound together by strict obeisance to a religion. This is pretty much the only binding thing, so they really protect that well. They don’t want anything to touch the boundaries. Jews are bound together by identity politics. Henry is no longer a Jew.

Gilad Atzmon has come to Ann Arbor a couple of times. He actually interviewed me in front of the synagogue. He asked me, “Why are you here?” I said, “The rabbi has said that the congregation unanimously supports Israel. I’m opposed to people who support Israel, because I’m against genocide.”

No Jewish organization will call for the dismantling of Israel, so they’re all Zionist organizations.

The Holocaust is the core element in the foundation of Jewish power, of Zionism. Without that, the whole thing collapses. The same with 9/11. Once 9/11 goes, everything goes.

The Jews are unique in the way that they’ve suffered throughout history, there is no other suffering like that, and the Holocaust is the culmination of the suffering of the Jews. We’re still suffering, but you can’t ever erase that. That’s the worst thing that has ever happened in the history of the world, OK? That’s pure evil manifest. You rip that away, and they’re no different than anybody else. Jews have suffered, but so has everybody else.

The British could decode the Enigma machine, so they knew what the Germans were doing. There’s no mention of gas chambers. The Red Cross inspected the concentration camps, and there’s no mention of it. If there’s anything to the official narrative, there must be some documentation about gas chambers in the German archives, but nobody has found anything about it, and there’s nothing in the Russian archives.

Jews declared economic war on Germany, and they were having an effect. The Jews controlled higher education, media and the entertainment industry in Germany in the 30’s. They controlled much of the banking sector. Jews were fighting tooth and nail, economically, with whatever means they could, and Hitler said, “We’ve got to sort out this country, for the Germans,” and Germans supported him. Hitler revived the economy. He started Volkswagen and gave people jobs. Most Germans were elated.

The vigil has become the focal point of my week. I look forward to it. Sometimes people give me the finger. Sometimes they beep the horn and give me a thumb up.

My wife sometimes says, “Ummm, you’re always angry. Why?”

“It’s because of the state of the world. It’s the unconscious people of the world. I don’t understand why they don’t understand anything.”

She says, “Well, you just have to think about something else.”

Everything now is propaganda, even football games, and the intention of it all is to make us afraid. They’ve generated this fear that’s inside everybody, and it’s just there, ready. When they say you should be afraid of this, it hooks onto it, the fear is already there, they don’t have to generate it any more. It’s just incredible.

And the anger, all of the cops are angry now, all the time.

I know a survivalist in northern Michigan. He’s got a degree in chemical engineering. He does consulting one day a week and lives on almost nothing. He said, “People like me are going to take back the country when the revolution comes.”

I said, “You’re not going to do anything. You’ve got a gun, and they have all these huge weapons. They’re trained murderers.”

“They’re not going to shoot their own people.”

“You’re not their people! They’ll shoot at whoever they’re told to. This is what they’ve been trained to do.”

That’s what all the first person shooter video games are about. It’s the training vehicle, and the recruiting vehicle for the guys who go do that, especially the drone operators that sit in these places and kill people with drone rockets. They’ve never been on a battle field, but they’ve played a lot of video games.

I don’t want to fly anywhere in the United States. If I have to go to the West Coast, I’ll drive there. I can’t stand the TSA. I don’t understand why people put up with them. Later this year, I’ll go to England to visit my daughter, so I’ll fly from Toronto.

Australian airports are OK. Hong Kong airport is OK. Leaving Heathrow once, I was pulled aside because they wanted to check my bag. There was a man and a woman. As the lady took things out, I asked her, “What are you looking for?”

“We don’t know.” They both spoke with a non-British accent, so they were immigrants. “We’re just looking for something dangerous.”

“Do you ever find anything?”

“No.”

“Do you know why you’re doing this?” She looked at me, and I said, “It’s because the United States government tells you you have to. They’re setting the rules. It’s because of 9/11, but 9/11 was an inside job.”

She said, “I know.”

They found nothing. We shook hands. As I was trying to figure out where to go next, which gate, a guy who was on his break came over and said, “I want to hear more about this.”

So I told him about Building 7. He didn’t know about it. It was 576 feet tall, with 47 stories, and it fell at about 20 past five in the afternoon. BBC News reported this 23 minutes before it happened. I told him about Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. He was really keen.

Chomsky is a smart guy, but I also think he’s a liar. He’s too smart to really believe what he said about 9/11.

I look up at the sky on a clear day and I see the chemtrails, and I think, Why are they doing that? Then I read about the various false flags, Sandy Hook, Boston Marathon, Orlando, etc., and it becomes clear to me pretty quickly that this is all bullshit.

Three weeks ago, Newsweek put out a special edition on Hitler. On the cover, there’s a picture of Hitler, with the caption, “CAN HIS EVIL LEGACY EVER BE DEFEATED?” Henry bought it. What he was looking for were gas chambers, because that’s the most evil thing in the world that has ever happened, because the most evil thing in history is the gassing of the Jews.

Henry said to me, “Will you read through this for me? I’m not sure I read it carefully enough. I don’t see any mention of gas chambers in there.”

I read it, cover to cover, all 98 pages. There are two pages, each half covered by pictures, about the concentration camps. There is no mention of any gas chamber. At the bottom of the first page, there is something about using “gas trucks” and firearms to kill Jews.

“gas trucks”

Henry said, “What are they doing? I think they’re starting to back away from the myth of the gas chambers.”

If the official narrative was accurate, they would certainly concentrate on that. Henry reckons maybe the revisionists are starting to have an effect. On scientific and historic terms, the argument is finished. The revisionists have won. There were no gas chambers.

Recently in Michigan, it became law that the official version of the Holocaust must be taught in all public schools. The Jews still have this myth going.

The gas chambers are the central part of the official narrative, just like the 19 hijackers are the central part of 9/11. Each of which is false.

Henry thinks we’re going to see a change in emphasis pretty soon. The Jews are going to change the story. They’re going to say, “Nah, nah, we really didn’t mean gas chambers.”

Recently, a woman in her mid-60’s showed up at our vigil, and she had a sign, “GOD BLESS ISRAEL.” In response, we now have a sign, “GOD BLESS AMERICA. DELIVER US FROM ISRAEL.” We’ve also made these bumper stickers, “AMERICA FIRST. NOT ISRAEL.”

A long time ago, I bought into the open border argument. Why should we have boundaries? They’re just political constructs. Gradually, I figured out that people want these boundaries because they’ve developed a social system which works for them.

In 2003, I visited my daughter in Reading, England. I walked around and saw all these Muslims, just sort of taking over. In the 80’s, I was already aware of the Muslim problem. There were lots of Chinese in Reading as well, but they assimilated. They spoke Chinese among each other, but English to everybody else, and the second-generation Chinese were just English. The Muslims tried to remake the social rules, and even the laws, to accommodate them.

The destruction of nationalism is a part of the Zionist program. It’s very subversive. They support diversity, every group just doing its own thing. The Zionist own thing, though, is to take over the world. They’re already dominating a huge chunk of it.
