Lunch today cost $6.03. The soup had blood sausage mostly, but also pork, liver and bits of offal. One of the kimchis were these tiniest shrimps.

Lunch joint today. I took a one-hour bus to Gyeongju, population 265,000.

Silkworm pupae--Gyeongju








Beondegi. They're boiled silkworm pupae. I bought a cup for $1.60 which had at least 150. You're supposed to eat them with a toothpick, but this got a bit tedious so I just gulped them down, like a squishy milk shake.
