Very sick 73-year-old woman from Thái Nam, Kiên Giang trying to go home. Two ladies on the bus gave her some cash, but I pretty much paid for her fare home. Having begged in Bà Rịa, she was going to Bình Châu to beg some more. Much of her info I had to extract from her. It wasn't like she got on the bus with a sob story. Another man and I had to push and pull just to get her on this bus, she was so weak.

To build a new church, the 1931 one was razed, a real shame. Bottom photo, found online, is how it appeared in 2012. Bell tower was a latter addition.
