Some people think Jon resembles Denzel Washington, so he's taken to calling himself Dinzel. Forty-eight-years-old, he has two children, a 23-year-old son and 22-year-old daughter, both living in New Jersey. His father is in Florida. His mother's dead. From 1984 to 1986, Jon served in the Marines, but was discharged because he had knee and back problems. Now he's trying to collect disability compensation. Joining, he thought he would make the military his career. He loves fighter planes, and his father was an Air Force pilot. Jon has a bachelor's in graphic design, and would like to return to school to study communications. Some lawyer he met on the streets allowed him to move in, but the man turned out crazy, so Jon got out after two weeks. I asked Jon why didn't his kids help him, and he said they needed help themselves. Homeless, he lived in Santa Monica, Miami and New York before ending up in Philly. He's been to 32 states altogether. While in California, he was an extra in a couple of movies.
