I know you have invested a lot of time in this platform/way of presenting your work (especially the fotos), but I'm wondering if another platform might be better, i.e. allow you to gain more of a following, even earn some money ... ?
I'm thinking of Instagram.
You could post a day's worth of fotos, choosing which one to highlight/people would see -- they could then swipe thru the rest once they clicked on the entry, where you could also add some text -- users/visitors can easily comment, and tag other users, growing your follower count (and hence, hopefully, your income).
You can also add categories, e.g. a city, country, or geographic region.
I know it would be some work to move your content there, but in the end it could (and probably would) be worth it -- anyway, it is worth considering, especially since it appears the family problems/issues have caused a change in plans ...
So think about it -- you seem to enjoy this kind of thing, and you are very good at it, so why not try to make a small business out of it?
