Some instant food bought yesterday. Notice the Italian and Spanish. Yesterday, I walked by a grocery store that had all its signs in Italian, such as "Punto di Informazione" for "Information Desk."
In Spanish, gallo is a rooster, but gala is not a chicken but bile! So it has to be gallina, a diminutive. Following this logic, gallina should not be chicken but chick. Now, Gallina Blanca makes perfect sense as a brand for instant soup. It's subliminal advertising, you see. Eat a White Chick!
(I was going to write slurp, but that's, uh, too suggestive.)
