"KING OF THE TURKISH SANDWICH." I've had two or three doner kebabs/gyros in Vietnam, and they were all appallingly bad! Although there are no Turks or Greeks in Vietnam to speak of, and no Vietnamese in Turkey or Greece, many Vietnamese have spent time in Germany, so they should know how to make a better gyro.

One of my favorite fares in the world - there’s one place in Chiang Rai that is absolute shit. One has to go to Bangkok to indulge in the real thing. How hard can it be?
