$9 a night hotel room in District 6 with AC and private bathroom with shower. My third time at this joint. Their main income is renting out rooms by the hour or half an hour.
Hopefully the walls were thick enough to keep out most of the grunts and groans of your neighbours' passions, and that you were able to get some sleep.
I had a very long day, so could have slept through anything. Hotel seemed nearly empty that night, though. Much of that action is in the daytime anyway. A husband can duck into here for half an hour, but if he stays overnight, there'll be consequences!
Over thirty years ago, in my late twenties, I used to enjoy those one-hour hotel rooms with the local hotties in Rio de Janeiro. You can find rent-by-the-hour hotel/motels all over South America.
I trust that you also had, along with the relative quiet of a nearly empty hotel, clean sheets.
