With Ranbir Sidhu at Naidu Wines. Born in London, Ranbir spent most of his life in the US, but is now happily living in Athens. Ranbir's family is from Punjab, so southern India is entirely alien to him, he told me.
Having been around quite a bit of North India and constantly hearing from Indians how South India is so much more clean and developed, I have been very surprised by your pics. If the words on the signs weren't written in different scripts, I'd be completely unable to tell any difference whatsoever between Bangularu and any "backward" part of U.P. which is supposedly the armpit of the nation according to some.
