Bangkok was only founded in 1782, so a young city. Around this time, there were already two Vietnamese temples in the new Thai capital, Wat Thipvariviharn and Wat Mongkol Samakhom. The first has disappeared, but Wat Mongkol Samakhom, or Chùa Hội Khánh, is still here. Above is how it looks today.
