I'm as bearish on the west as anyone, but I don't agree with these guys that BRICS is a serious challenger. Other than China, BRICS is a coalition of extreme dysfunction. India is more dominated by the west now than they ever were during colonial era and are going nowhere economically except in their own imagination,South Africa barely exists, and Brazil just had a soft coup.
My view is that we're all going down. World is too interdependent and it's impossible to escape this system unharmed.
