My hotel is the purple and white building in the back. I'm paying $25 a night, the highest in a while, but this is a great location, my favorite part of Phnom Penh, and I have a balcony to hang laundry. In Kracheh, I paid $10 then $12.50. In Pakse, I paid just nine bucks a night, and sometimes even less, depending on the exchange rate. In Don Det, I paid $4!

Way too much. There is a glut of hotel rooms in P.P.
Offering much better rooms, with views of the river,
For half of what you are paying, wide range of near-by
Restaurants, and alleys, close to Kandal market, people
congregating along the riverside of an evening, very
Vibrant and alive area. Go online and Agoda.com
Just click on cheapest first, put tomorrows date
and stop getting ripped-off, just a few streets away,
