The weekly vigils - now into their 16th year - are still ongoing. These days it’s usually Henry, Chris and me. Gloria might return after the weather warms up.
You’re absolutely right about that special Hitler issue of Time Magazine. There were 98 pages. Henry also said to me, “Will you read through this for me? I’m not sure I read it carefully enough. I don’t see any mention of gas chambers in there.” I read it, cover to cover, all 98 pages. There are two pages, each half covered by pictures, about the concentration camps. There is no mention of any gas chamber. At the bottom of the first page, there is something about using “gas trucks” and firearms to kill Jews.
Sometime during the first half of the 70s an article in Time about racial tension in the UK made the claim that you could see Indians “in Coventry piping to pet cobras on their front porches”. I knew that was pretty farfetched, since houses in Coventry, like houses in Birmingham where I lived, don’t have front porches. I phoned the Coventry police and was told that they weren’t aware of anything like that. It was then that I first realized that much of the MSM is straight up blatant propaganda.
