The bus was this packed. People were jammed into a luggage compartment, next to bags, a spare tire and a motorbike. When it was moving, they sat in the dark. Removed of its fixtures, the "bathroom" was also used as a luggage compartment.
Demand is higher than usual now, because young people are returning to the cities after their [Western] New Year break, but still, the fact that they would put up with this means that it's not that big of a deal.

Seems demand is high, so why are there not more comfortable/less crowded travel options?
