Not sure how it’s done in Vietnam, but in Thailand people often tag their business with their first name “Keng’s Garage” “Noi’s Kitchen” etc. as opposed the west where they use the last name; Singer, Sanka, Heinz, Hershey, etc. curious how it’s done in Vietnam?
Also I just noticed porn’s name in Thai พร on the sign. พ is a “p” sound and the ร is usually an “r” sound except at the end of a word then it is an “n” sound.
Since half of Vietnamese have the same last name, Nguyen, people are referred to by their first name, so Nguyen Van Thieu is called Mr. Thieu and not Mr. Nguyen. Nguyen Cao Ky is called Mr. Ky and not Mr. Nguyen. I'm called Mr. Linh and not Mr. Dinh.
