Best looking building in Pakse, and at the best location, too. When many Chinese first showed up in Pakse 30 years ago, they were itinerant merchants carrying sacks containing their merchandises. Now, they all have stores. Locals believe Chinese were given money by their government so they could emigrate.
In just about every country I've visited in the last 20 years, there has been a recent surge of Chinese immigrants, and we're talking about Italy, Spain, France, England, Serbia, Namibia, Cambodia and Laos, etc.
