Linh: I’m a long-time reader and new financial supporter of your blog. I read it daily, primarily for the memorable photographs you share of a world utterly unknown to me as an American. I thank you for your work and your itinerant life.
I’m an old white lady. My family and I have a small farm in the American Southeast’s Blue Ridge mountains. It’s a lovely place to live and work. But every day I am conscious of how privileged I am—and at the expense of those less privileged than me. Your blog teaches me that there are many ways in this world to have dignity, to thrive, and to suffer.
I wish you many years of health and commitment to the invaluable work you do. It’s a privilege to support you.
I'm still not 100% recovered from my health problem, so can't run around as much, but luckily, there's still plenty to discover and photograph in Pakse.

Hi Elenka,
Many thanks for your comment, and your support.
