Vietnamese house on Preah Soramarith Quay. Compared to Vietnamese in Laos, those in Cambodia are poorer and more self effacing. Outside Phnom Penh, signs in Vietnamese are extremely rare, so at this house, there's only a bit of Chinese writing.

A very precarious existence for these people, at any time they could be issued with notices of eviction. Squatting on and building structures on the river bank is illegal, although much leeway is given to the poor.
