This photo reminds me of my brother in law who lives in Detroit. Very bright guy, downsized out of his decades long truck driving job delivering auto parts, tried his hand at scrapping, couldn't make a go of it, too much competition, turned to heroin. Business is booming here for me (mental health). I try to explain to my clients that they don't need therapy, they need money, that their normal reactions to economic hopelessness have been medicalized. Anyway, great blog, still a must read for me. I see it's five degrees in Philly this morning. Damn global warming:)
