I'm off to NY

tomorrow, so new photos by Friday noon. I haven't been posting much to deal with some health issues. I haven't seen a doctor in many years, so I'm trying to cure myself through rest and a radical diet change. So far, so good, but when the muffler, wheels and axle fall off, as is more likely with each passing year, then that's that, I guess. For a guy who doesn't own a car, and can't even stand them, I shouldn't be using car metaphors, I know... Speaking of which, it's quite a spectacle to see Dylan rhapsodize about car culture.

Have a good rest, you deserve it! You have a wonderful heart and spirit!

Have a good rest, you deserve it! It's rare these days to find a wonderful heart and spirit. Peace:)

Dylan's commercial wasn't as offensive as I expected. I found myself wondering whether some ad agency whiz-kid had written it. What is Dylan, after all, but a persona, a cipher, onto which we project our own expectations?

Linh, when you hit 50 your body starts to do strange things, and parts you didn't even know you had start to bother you. i'm not a fan of the sickcare industry, but surely some compassionate, do-gooder outfit can provide some indigent care for what's ailing you.
