Orlando Shooting Means Trump for President

As published at Unz Review, CounterCurrents, LewRockwell, Global Research and Signs of the Times, 6/12/16:

Waking up to news of the Orlando shooting, I thought of the possibility that a Muslim shooter would be identified, in which case a Trump presidency would be nearly guaranteed.

As with 9/11, the 2015 Paris massacre and the San Bernardino shooting, Islamic terror is immediately fingered, with the purported killer already dead. What lightning fast police work, eh?

With so many corpses to sort out, the name and origin of the perpetrator are immediately available. Omar Mateen is 29-years-old, of Afghan descent and is a registered Democrat to boot.

After the Boston Marathon Bombing, the Tsarnaev brothers were meant to be killed, but Dzhokhar miraculously survived though hundreds of bullets were fired at the boat in which he was hiding. If the purpose was to uncover a terror network, why would our government try to kill such a valuable prisoner? Unarmed, injured and trapped, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev wasn’t going anywhere. They could have starved him out.

A twist in the Orlando shooting is that it took place at a gay nightclub. In recent years, gay and transgender rights have been forefronted by our ruling class and its attendant media. This maneuver is meant to get American citizens to rage at each other. Distract, divide and rule. With gay marriage accepted, our rulers came up with another wedge in the transgender bathroom access issue. As we argue who gets to defecate where, our ruling class will continue to crap over all of us.

In 2008, Obama was touted as a political outsider who will hose away all of the rot and bloody criminality of the Bush years. He turned out to be a deft move by our ruling class. Though fools still refuse to see it, Obama is a perfect servant of our military banking complex. Now, Trump is being trumpeted as another political outsider.

A Trump presidency will temporarily appease restless, lower class whites, while serving as a magnet for liberal anger. This will buy our ruling class time as they continue to wage war abroad while impoverishing Americans back home. Like Obama, Trump won’t fulfill any of his election promises, and this, too, will be blamed on bipartisan politics.

Who will benefit from this story of a Muslim Democrat massacring homosexuals?

I really have no idea whether this was false flag, though it's fishy that the original news story mentioned two gunmen but was changed to one and that the media knew the perp had beaten his ex-wife within hours of the shooting. There is certainly a history of people who were at one time suspected by federal law enforcement being trained in some way for a convenient attack.

I also am of the opinion that the law enforcement and intel agencies are wary of Trump and of course opposed to Sanders. Trump has widely vacillating opinions on foreign policy and spying and had a TV show where he said "You're fired!" a lot: he could push for an A to Z review of expenditures. Hillary was the largest recipient of donations from the national defense sector.

I'm sure that the attacks help Hillary, though I'm not saying her campaign is in any way involved in them, because:

* After making a speech criticizing Trump a week and a half ago; Trump's response, focusing on emails, the Clinton Foundation, and intimidation of female accusers of Bill, was scheduled for Monday. Trump would be advised to postpone it now;

* Hillary's main issues are gun control and gay rights. She actually tried to paint Sanders as pro-gun as he represents Vermont in the Senate and has a balanced voting record. Gun control and gay rights where passions for the Clintons in the 90s. Obama had used executive orders to overrule state governments on the transgendered people in bathrooms, an issue that has been divisive in Bible Belt, Great Plains, and Southern states. I agree that while voters in both parties think the campaign finance system is corrupt and oppose trade agreements this is an unfortunate wedge issue in an election year;

* News is coming out that millions of ballots in California have not been counted, of widespread voting irregularities in Puerto Rico, and investigation into culpability could create a scandal;

* Hillary will have a chance to look presidential, turning the page on the disputed Democratic primaries, and be more effective at appealing for emotional unity than Trump;

* Talk suggests that Hillary will soon be questioned by the FBI over misuse of classified information, influence peddling, and money laundering. When the FBI investigated peddling influence to Chinese donors in the 90s there was a lot of push back that they were diverting resources from investigating terror. Since the FBI had this guy under surveillance, there will be similar voices questioning the FBI's priorities. Not indicting Hillary before the convention, thus reducing Sanders' chances to win the whole thing, is worth billions of dollars to the defense industry;

* It came the night before Biden was going to Miami for a fundraiser for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the oft-criticized DNC Chair that rigged the deck against Sanders for Hillary, to finance her campaign against her Sanders-backed primary challenger. Biden's scheduled appearance, characteristic of his friendship with Wasserman Schultz ("when he hugs her, he means it"), would further endear him to the person who would select the new nominee (you heard that right) should the nominee (Hillary) be indicted after the convention by DoJ. Biden cancelled his appearance.

Again, I'm not alleging anything in particular, but the attacks do help Hillary with news cycles and political leverage.

Most people agree it helps Trump, though, or at least it did among Republican voters..

Linh, To tell the truth, I find Hillary scarier. Talk about an itchy trigger finger. Being head of the U.S. armed forces is her fondest dream. Only she won't stop with just bringing ruin to the Middle East, she's got bigger game in mind, namely Russia and China.

The shooter in Orlando may have been Muslim but he was also a U.S. citizen, so Trump shouting about barring Muslims from coming to the U.S. isn't going to stop individuals who, because of their mental illness and because of how easy it is for any wingnut to buy the deadliest weapons, can easily pull off such a terrible crime.

Hi Mark and Jolee,

I see this Orlando episode as the deep state giving Trump a push. I never believed he was an outsider. Recently, Trump met with Kissinger, that's how outside he is.

With their voting machines, they can select anybody they want anyway. American voters are only extras in the election farce.

Today's Washington Post:

“Hillary Clinton… took in hundreds of millions of dollars for a hospital in Haiti that went to the Clinton Foundation, that was never built — that was years ago. Where is that money?” Cohen, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization and special counsel to Donald Trump, made this accusation while answering questions about Trump’s donations to veterans’ groups. He blamed the media for asking questions about Trump’s donations, yet letting Clinton’s allegedly squandered hospital promise go unquestioned.

That's not how you'd treat a chosen candidate, I don't think. A lot can happen between now and November, and we're merely spectators to our rulers' machinations, but Trump is a more useful tool. Our rulers NEED a polarizing figure so that we can tear each other apart as they go on committing crimes.

Hillary in the debate: “I was very flattered when Henry Kissinger said I ran the State Department better than anybody had run it in a long time.”

Kissinger was a strong supporter of NAFTA, and so was grateful to the Clintons for getting it through Congress (Greg Grandin did a piece on this). Having a Democratic president who was willing to reinstate WW2 tin subsidies for Texas districts to ratify the Rebublican-negotiated treaty was appealing to the establishment. Trump has bolstered his populist credentials by attacking NAFTA.

Trump applies an everyman's logic (a rich, bullying everyman) to matters like sitting down with Putin and I don't think even he knows what he'd do as president. Inevitably, as you say, he will probably become surrounded with neo-con advisors, as he's been floating Newt Gingrich (Adelson puppet), Condi Rice, and arch conservative Jeff Sessions for VP. Gingrich especially would have a Dick Cheney function on the president that won't crack a book. Bill Kristol is throwing a fit over Trump, because the Israel lobby doesn't know what he'd do but know he's a macho that doesn't go along with the convention of being neutered.

A Trump presidency, I think, would leave both party's political establishment in shambles. The Dems would be dealing with the rising demographics favoring Bernie, and there will be much anger that they let Clinton strong arm the party in to letting them lose to Trump, however it happens. The Republican chaos is already under way, and if he does get elected, it will probably be worse for them.

Repressing Haiti is a bi-partisan and multi-national (France, Canada, Brazil) policy. Which is not to say the Clintons don't have a particular flair for it. In these matters, Obama and folks like that go along but Hillary loves to hurt vulnerable people. Haiti and Honduras are the two poorest countries in the hemisphere, and not coincidentally the two countries Hillary destroyed the most. She destroyed Libya because it was there and possible. Trump is an egomaniac that the political establishment can't wait to undermine when the opportunity arises, Hillary has gamed the entire establishment while intensifying imperialist policies.

The newspapers have to report at least once the comments of a party-nominated candidate. But pointing out the incompetence of Trump is common in the mainstream media, as is acting like there's nothing wrong with Hillary.

Trump supporters will be disappointed no matter what. The question is, how will they react to his inevitable neoconnery...?

Hi grimychaz,

Having voted for Trump, they'll make all kinds of excuses for the man, then vote for him again, same as Obama supporters. Or take the people who back Hillary Clinton despite her horrific track records.

Hi Linh,

"It's different this time" is quite often a foolish way to think when it comes to entrenched systems, but I feel like the inputs and external factors have raised the stakes significantly this go round. You can only randomly slaughter people and degrade society/the economy so much before people break. I think a lot of the Trumpers and Bernie people will cause chaos like we haven't seen since in this country for 40 years :-(

Ian Keenan said...

The more I look at this the more I think you're initial instincts were correct. I'm not nearing any conclusions but you have a guy who the FBI director said was under surveillance and had a contact(?) shooting his way to his death with several other people who've been blacked out in the media, who names the Tsarnaev brothers in a 911 call.

It's well known that the skinheads that voted for Trump in the primary are not without representation in the FBI, then you have the right winger Hillary haters, and then you have the apolitical, middle of the roaders, bureaucrats, who watched Director Louis Freeh's 1997 call for an independent council to investigate Bill's campaign contributions from China get buried by Bill's Justice Department so that Bill could pardon one of their ten most wanted (Marc Rich) on his last day in office - they don't seem to like her in that building. For the deep state there's heightened militarization and opening up the wounds of several wedge issues. Again, I'm not suggesting conclusive evidence of anything..

Yo Ian,

Two eye witnesses are recorded as saying there was a guy blocking the door as club patrons tried to escape, so it wasn't just one shooter acting alone, and I'll even say that there were several shooters, with Omar Mateen not necessarily being one of them. Even the mainstream media are saying Mateen was a regular at the club, and he went there to pick up men, according to other regulars.

They shot up the club, killed a bunch, including Mateen, with a story about him ready for immediate release.

Anyone who knows Hopsicker's work knows that it's fishy that this would be happening in Central Florida, since Atta lived and learned piloting in Venice FL surrounded by intel bigwigs. Sure enough, Danny Boy breaks this one..

"ORLANDO SHOOTING DAD A LONGTIME CIA ASSET
Posted on June 13, 2016 by Daniel Hopsicker

"The father of the man who slaughtered 50 people in the Orlando nightclub shooting Saturday night is a longtime CIA asset, whose TV show receives funding from the Voice of America -Dari. Pictured below is Seddique Mateen with California Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.."

http://www.madcowprod.com/2016/06/13/orlando-shooter-dad-longtime-cia-asset/#more-12023

He also had a few things to say in earlier posts about the California primary. I was thinking the chronological proximity between the two events might be intentional.

Linh Dinh said...

Brandon Turbeville at Activist Post:

"It is also interesting to note that Mateen’s father Seddique Mateen is a political personality in his own right having hosted a TV show and apparently declared himself a presidential candidate for Afghanistan. Seddique has denounced the Pakistani government and expressed support and encouragement for the Taliban movement.

Still, the question regarding the fact that Mateen was on the FBI’s radar is extremely important. One key aspect suggesting a false flag that should be looked for soon after the attack is any possible connection the suspect or group of suspects may have had with intelligence agencies. A connection to any one of these organizations and institutions may go some length in explaining how the attack was coordinated, the motivation of the perpetrators, the actual involvement (or not) of the suspects, and who actually directed the operation. For instance, on 9/11, many of the alleged hijackers had previously had close contact with the FBI, CIA, and other high-level intelligence agencies (both home and abroad). Likewise, the Tsarnaev brothers who have been accused of masterminding and carrying out the Boston Bombing had ties to the FBI before the attack.

In many instances, connections to certain military agencies and communities should serve as the same red flag as connections to intelligence agencies since these institutions have largely been blended together."
