In this downtown neighborhood, you have the lower middle class, lower class, slum dwellers and homeless all mingling together. I'm in my second hotel here, since the first was a bit too funky. It was also right across the street from a large mosque with the loudest prayer calls I've ever heard, but that didn't bother me. I get up before 5AM anyway.
