In most of the pictures you've posted from Bengaluru I've noticed that there have been images of Ambedkar somewhere in the frame. I've known who he is and saw evidence of his legacy in India many times, but nothing like the amount of support shown for his cause lately.
It's the Buddhist concept of dependent/mutual arising happening in the political sphere. As nationalism rises with the support of the powerful, so does its own counterbalance in the unity of the dalit class.
