80K [$3.17] lunch. Meats are beef wrapped in piper lolot leaves and grilled pork. Sauce is fermented fish with pineapple. There's rice paper and "bánh hỏi" rice threads. All those uncooked vegetables and herbs detox and heal.
A couple of times a week, I'll take a clove or two of crushed raw garlic and a whole raw brussel sprout, chop them as finely as I can, chew them to a pulp with either a ginger tablet or two or raw ginger. It isn't for the faint hearted, can burn your mouth initially and will make you stink after a long day or walk, but I swear by it. In combo with green tea and lemon, it's a really cheap way to detox. I still smoke some and this helps turn the tide in a better direction. Herbs and raw vegetables are powerful healers. That meal looks wonderful!
