At Hasan Indian Restaurant, chicken tikka, potato, tomato, saffron rice and Beerlao for 140,000 kips [$7.75]. Chicken was too dry but still a damned good meal.
It's crazy how inflation works. I remember getting similar meals at various Indian joints around Boston in 2004. Nowadays in the Midwest an Indian meal costs about $25-30

Also the inflation of insurance costs, Labor(tax on labor) finance, various licensing, etc….
