This area was marketed for more wealthy people and tourism but seems to Have failed, does Vung Tau really need a golf course and large shopping Centres. From photos I've seen, much of the tourist areas in Chi Linh Seem vacant, very few people around. Similar to Cambodia tourist spots, much hyped investments leading to Disappointment for the local populace, priced out and unemployed. With just announced huge visa price increases in Thailand, what is Going to happen there?
I have no idea who goes into that golf course but it takes up a huge chunk of the city. The road next to it is also devoid of small businesses. Chi Linh as a residential area is pleasant and lively enough, though.

Hi Lyle,
