I just received in the mail a very inpressive book of poems by US-born Vietnamese poet, Nguyễn Thụy Đan. I wrote Dan, "Just a dozen lines in, I could tell this is a watershed in Vietnamese poetry. All Viet poets must take note!"

In the last six years, I've only written poems in Vietnamese, and not many, though enough for a collection published underground in Saigon. I must up my game.
