Thanks to a donor from Fort Worth, TX, who sent me $50 through Paypal. That cheers me up because it tells me that this project matters. The articles I publish on Common Dreams and Counterpunch, I don't get paid for, but I prefer to write for those venues because they allow me to say exactly what I need to say, unlike a maintream outlet like the New York Times, which I've written for twice. For over a year, I've spent much of my time taking photos for this blog. Last month, I traveled to Detroit, Cleveland and Buffalo, sleeping four nights on the Greyhound. Soon I'll go South, then West.
