You may have noticed that I haven't updated much lately. The main reason is I need to step away to take care of some practical and professional matters. If I go on like this, I'll end up like many of the people I photograph. The second reason is my computer was hit by a host of viruses several days ago. It's still not completely fixed.

This blog will sputter along until the begining of June, when I return from New Orleans, Detroit and a few other places. I'll be paid to give a reading in the Big Easy, so I'll spend that money to travel around a bit by train.
