I read a story recently about a veteran who sold his purple heart to a pawn shop .
What has America come to that a pawn shop is willing to take such a metal . Even worse think of the type of person who would buy a purple heart . Would it be a symbol of wounds sustained by someone in battle; or a symbol of extreme economic hardship
