Man-trying-to-find-match--Camden

After an evening in Gloucester, I headed home at around 11:20PM. Seeing no one at the bus stop in Gloucester, I decided to walk to the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden, then take the train back to Philly. This was a hike of nearly four miles, with half of that in Camden proper. Seeing that it wasn't wisest to walk through Camden in the dark, I opted for the railroad tracks, where at least I wouldn't run into anyone, or so I thought. Halfway though my trek, I saw a light coming at me, thankfully not too fast, for it was a locomotive. As I was on an overpass, there wasn't much room to step aside, but I did and sat on the gravel, with my face away from the tracks. The engineer had seen me, however, and would not advance his locomotive until I had moved further away, and so I got off the overpass and tucked myself into the darkened bush. "Yo, buddy, I wouldn't hide there if I were you," the man shouted.

"That's all right, I'm getting out of here."

Right after this, I ran into the dude in this photo. He had a dirt bike and was looking for a match, his last, and since it was so dark, I lent him my cellphone so he could use it as a light. After at least ten minutes of frantically combing through the gravel and leaves, he still couldn't find his match. Meanwhile, I had taken my camera out.

"I wish you wouldn't do that!" the dude complained each time the flash on my camera went off. (I hate using a flash, since it distorts the situation, but I had no choice here, since nothing would show up otherwise.)

"Yo, man, I have to do something!" Then, "Listen, dude, I need my phone back, 'cause I have to get out of here."

"Thanks," he said as I walked away.
