Steve-in-Downtown-Draught-House--Youngstown

24-years-old, Steve has three kids with three different women. His oldest is a 8-year-old boy. Steve bought me a shot of Jameson, but tried to decline when I bought him a slug of Wild Turkey. He wasn't driving, but only taking the bus home. When I observed how friendly Youngstown seemed to be, Steve countered, "It's just this area, it's just this bar, the rest of it is ghetto!"

"There's a shooting, like, every night," added the bartender, Roxi.

Hey Linh this is Steven. I talked to you at the Draught House about poetry and this place called Greyland Gallery in Youngstown that you were pretty interested in at the time. Anyhow, I'd like to stay in touch and found no other way than this blog. If you do the Facebook thing you can find me here: https://www.facebook.com/stvnndrw and if my handwriting wasn't clear for my poetry site it's here: http://stvnndrw.tumblr.com/ I hope to hear back from you and hope your journey back home to Phillie a was good. Take care -Steven (steven@stvnndrw.net)

Hi Steven,

I'll check out your site. From what I just saw, it looks great already. Yeah, it was really too bad I couldn't spend more time in Youngstown. I hope your performance went well that night. Hopefully I can catch you there in the future.

Hi Steven,

Also, the next time you're in the Draught House, please tell Roxi that I haven't sent her the photo because I can't find her email. I wasn't all there by the end, and even managed to lose my damn glasses. (They need to be replaced anyway, though.)

Was born in Cincinnati -- never visited Youngstown, although back then it was probably (still) a decent place -- which it does not seem to be now.
