Big-Brother's-voice-on-7-5-14--St-Paul

Inside Union Depot, a creepy, Big Brother voice reverberates nonstop from this corner installation. Passengers have no choice but to hear this as they wait for their trains.

That IS very creepy.

Hi Justin,

The station itself is quite attractive, with a free ping pong table and, episodically, even free yoga lessons.

I'm going to upload another audio of this weird, mind-molesting installation.

is it art? what is going on??? where "most of you hiding out" in the middle for real?

the text-to-voice generation is absolutely terrifying.

Hi Leo,

There were all these people in the station and no one seemed disturbed by this. I'd have recorded more but I had to get on the train. As you can see, there's no tag on or next to this triangular object. In that cavenous hall, the voice really carried, so there was no way to ignore it. You couldn't even read a newspaper in peace.

Sounds like Blaine the Mono from Steven King's Dark Tower series. Very creepy!
