do these scenes ever make you depressed, flat out sad? your postcards do not often betray a sense of despondency besides seeming a bit bummed out at times.
Like many of us, I get exasperated, sad or angry often enough, but as you can see in my Postcards, I am regularly amazed by the people I encounter, and the task of trying to depict them properly is consuming enough that I feel properly employed, useful and, in a way, satisfied, though that glancing sensation is not something to bask in, for I see my many screwups clearly enough.
