Pool-players-in-Dr-Lou's Place--Roebling

Roebling is named after John A. Roebling and Sons. Their steel mill provided cables for the Golden Gate Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge, among others. Muscular work gone, there are now 100 adult women to every 86.7 men in Roebling (compared to 94.8 for New Jersey). At Dr. Lou's Place, shown here, I talked to a construction worker who had moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He was only in town to see his mom.

A pint of Yuengling at Dr. Lou's is only $2.

Walking around, I noticed the Hungarian Reformed Church and the St. Mary Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church. Roebling is 83.28% white. There were American flags all over.

Three hundred yards from Roebling, there's Money Island on the Delaware River.
