Hi destroy the universe,

Walking 7.5 miles from Santa Clara to Sunnyvale, I saw him from a distant through a window of a nursing home. As he was dozing, I could photograph the old man without disturbing him. At the time, I didn't even notice the two little cookies. It was Memorial Day, hence the flag, though perhaps he keeps it there regularly.

Linh: Did you see the news about the Pentagon giving the N.F.L. $7 Million for being patriotic? Often I wondered how much it costs to manufacture an American flag which spans end zone to end zone. No giant Betsy Ross around... Made in China?

I respect your comment (above), destroy the universe. Thank you.
