Inside Milpitas Mall, a mostly Filipino shopping center, on 5/26/15. At three different studios, there were zumba, aerobic and taekwondo classes. On benches in the mall's corridor, people sat to watch all the moves within. Though no fan of malls, I found this one to have an unusual communal feel. It was nearly a community center. At Seafood City Supermarket, its anchor store, there were banners proclaiming "AT HOME IN AMERICA." Next time I'll try the cheap fried chicken at Chowking. The instructor at this asskicking mill is called Chino Cruz, by the way.
