Linh, This afternoon I learned there's an interesting controversy presently going on in Pittston. The rather inspiring little town is creating a mural which will depict locals worthy of respect and admiration. Remarkably to date, there are NO war veterans (heroes)selected to appear on the mural, and as expected some patriotic people are complaining. They seem to want to go neighboring DuPont's route.

On this afternoon WILK radio talk Show, Steve Corbett praised Pittston for such distinguished display. However, as ultra-controversy is (understandably) often key to his success, Corbett brought up the fact that Pittston Area ("Patriots") High School, P.S.U., and Miami Dolphin football star, Jimmy Cefalo will appear on the Pittston mural. Honoring Cefalo upset Steve Corbett and the latter disappointed ME. Here's why.

Corbett, a very good local historian, told his audience about Jimmy Cefalo, 1985. As a member of the Miami Dolphins, and four days before his wedding, Cefalo told his fiancee that it's over! This naturally disturbed area traditionalists, and for some time, the Jimmy Cefalo star went dim. However, my knowing about nationally popular and the "brilliant" Newt Gingrich asking his cancer stricken wife for a divorce, and soon getting into presidential debates, I sensed Steve Corbett would have done better to give Playboy Cefalo a pass, and let Pittston place him on the rather unique, & so far, non-jingoistic mural. Pittston can do worse, I heard Wilt Chamberlain's hometown totally neglects his Gibbons scale history of romantic dunks and rebounds. However, I support Wilt and not Newt! (Note: Steve Corbett is a diehard supporter of Hillary Clinton for president. He's apparently convinced she's America's best choice)

Wish you good evening, and by the way, the official spelling of Joe Remash's nickname is REMO, not Rimo. You're forgiven.
