rather shocking, an american hot dog in the land of the bratwurst. i know in barcelona i was warmed on countless occasions by the german style bratwurst bars, i can't think of their name offhand, which served excellent brats as well as german and belgian beer. not that i hate hotdogs, they're about my favorite food, just had sausages tonight in fact, but nobody beats the brat

Yo x larry,

Well, some places in the UK sell Budfuckinweiser! I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw it. As noted on another post, a movie complex in Leipzig sells Coors.

Ur-Krostitzer is dirt cheap in this area, and it's excellent.

hey linh,
oh, buttwiper is everywhere to be seen here. my mother in law's husband always has a fridge full. german beer is upper echelon, to do obviously with a tradition of quality but also their labelling law--you simply can't sell shite there. someone, a dutch guy, pointed this out to me when i lived in barcelona. so i would buy the cheapest cans, 19 euro cents i remember (i almost tried selling them on the rambla but chickened out), wish i could remember the name, an army green can, quite good. but bud is european owned now, i think, the huge belgian conglomerate? molson-coors-whatever-whatever is i think second or third biggest is the shite beer conglomerate game. this in the age of the microbrew. now, thank god, and i mean very, very recently, england has begun at least in higher end shops to embrace the american ipa, my personal fave. hazed and infused from colorado is my favorite, also dale's pale ale from colorado. cheers
