Terrific pictures, Linh! An unforgettable experience for you & the students.

Extraordinary warm weather here in Pennsylvania, it's first time I saw you in shoes & not sandals.

Yo Chuck,

Just got back from England. Spent two days in Brighton with x larry and his wonderful family. The kids, Ralph and Freddy, are joyous and loving, like all kids should be.

During my 3 1/2 days in England, it was mostly cold and drizzly, but that's English weather for you.

hi linh,
thanks for posting my favorite pic of us and kids, despite my double chin and freddy's funny pose. it's now winter, an arctic wind thrashed us today and it's truly freezing. thanks again for a wonderful visit, albeit not a realistic one as far as our normally more dreary lives go. please come back, we miss you already!

Hi x larry,

I wish I had more time to talk to Suzanne. It was over too quickly and I was exhausted from that first crazy day in London. That night of Irish music was the best. We're blessed, man!

yes, linh,
unfortunately that little mini vacation right here at 'home' isn't daily reality. today i was rudely reminded several times (as i am every day besides it seems the two you were here) that i am very much in anglo-saxon land. i've got a new term for them: android-saxons. many just don't seem human to me. for the rest (the middle, chattering, guardian-reading class) there's the bbc, the bbc 4 version of which i tortured myself with for a good four hours tonight while dogsitting--no one can escape with a brain!
