Thank you for providing this angry picture which reminded me of the bloody REDRUM message scrawled on the wall of Overlook Hotel in Stephen King's film, "The Shining."

Far away from Leipzig, it seems to me that the German government lags far behind the phenomenal success the US M.I.C. enjoys at proliferating Soldier Worship. German elementary and high school education must be superior to our "No Child left Behind" (teach to the test system), and consequently, German pols and media can not yet fully attack it's citizens at their strength, intelligence and conscience.

P.S. As you know, a couple months ago, the D.O.D. got into a little "hot water" when caught at paying the National Football League millions of dollars to whoop it up for the military. Of course this "infraction" went straight into the national Memory Hole, and it's once again, ONLY YOU & TOM BRADY CAN PREVENT TERROR! Thank you.

Yo Chuck,

Most Germans are passively tolerating the presence of American troops, bases and nuclear missiles on their territory. They also put up with their soldiers being dragged into American wars. 52 Germans died in Afghanistan, and 1,200 German troops will be sent to the Middle East "to fight ISIS." In what capacity they will act, it's not clear, but few people here seem very upset about it. The Germans are part of the coalition to unseat Assad, of course.

Linh: I suppose there is a huge financial advantage for German businesses and people who work at US Military bases? I really hope Germans are "in it" (the Coalition) for the money advantage and not for distorted principle. Thank you!

Hi Chuck, Linh,

At any motivational level that counts, I think it's always about the money. Besides in it for the money seems like a pretty distorted principle to me.

You are right, Rudy! In my time in the environmental service cleanup racket, I saw several otherwise good men give up their principles for making more money, and they too got screwed. Thanks.
