Dear Linh,
Thank you so much for posting this. With only lies delivered from mainstream media, it is invaluable to hear from real people. But then, how do I know the letter-writer is real people? I don't know, but I trust you.
love, Patricia
p.s. at times I can almost convince myself this is all a dream. I guess it is.

Hi Patricia,

I also quoted extensively from the same man at the end of my piece, "Flagless Germany".

While your correspondent is at pains to express doubts that these incidents were staged for political reasons, those of us who have watched in awe as the state here in the US has used various tools at its disposal to create a pervasive climate of fear will probably note the expert handling of the story in the media as a campaign of sorts to create a similar atmosphere. Is the government -- and by this I mean the US government and its vassal states in the EU -- incapable of orchestrating events such as this so as to manipulate a population in order to acquire more power? The historical record doesn't give us much reason to doubt that it is indeed possible. While I don't doubt that there's a lack of cultural sensitivity in some of the refugees, the prospect that so many would behave so badly all at once and create an international scandal seems a tad far-fetched to me. I could be wrong -- it wouldn't be the first time -- but things are often not what they seem these days.
