The Blessing Bus--Atlanta

Free food from The Blessing Bus--Atlanta

2/25/17. Ian Keenan and I were just shuffling along, minding our own business, but we looked and smelled homeless enough, apparently, that The Blessing Bus gave us some food. "Sure, we'll take it!" and we went to a nearby park to chow down. Everything that was given to us was of the lowest possible quality, however, it was truly ungodly, so neither one of us could eat anything. We only drank the water. Ian and I are the opposite of fussy, I must add. I have eaten some of the worst food you could imagine.

I certainly hadn't changed or bathed for a few days but the driver stopped for a regular recipient (who might have been homeless). I said hello and the guy asked me if I wanted something to be polite. Linh's only use of the flash bulb I witnessed.

Nitpicking alms, but how hard it is to have some semblance of nutrition for the people that need it? '.. can't be choosers..'

That hot dog probably had 1% meat in it.

Oh, and no flash bulb was used. I never use it.

Linh and anyone reading this,

When you are in San Francisco, please check out Food Not Bombs. We'll hook you up with free, vegetarian, tasty and nutritious food. Unfortunately, because it is so expensive here, thus hard to maintain cookhouses, we are down to two weekly sharings.

19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the monosodium glutamate and the high fructose corn syrup, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 And all ate and were filled; and they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
