Just a tad more expensive than Denny's, but serving wonderful food in a magnificent setting, it's Cafe de Tacuba, founded in 1912. All of their rooms on two floors are jaw-dropppingly gorgeous. I had to see places like this to appreciate the sophistication of Mexico City.
