At left is Bỉm, poet and owner of the super sophisticated coffee house, Reng Reng. To welcome me to Hanoi, Bỉm took us to Beer Temple, where we had an excellent house-brewed stout, then a Dutch beer. In the new Vietnam, there are many fine beer pubs, as well as German and Czech styled beer halls.
