Vietnamese schools tend not to use bells, but drums, like the one you see here. I wasn't supposed to be on school ground, but there was no one at the guard booth, so I just walked right in. A kid asked, "Are you a photographer?"

When this teacher poked her head out, I said, "I'm just taking a photo of the drum, sister!"
