Plastic Recycling and Jousting Jews

As published at Unz Review and TruthSeeker, 6/4/19:

Our first year in Ea Kly was a failure. We lost quite a bit of money. For the past month, I’ve been in Saigon so we could formulate a new game plan. Even in a low-wage economy like Vietnam, plastic recycling is barely feasible.

Seeing people falling is funny. In his magisterial Crowds and Power, Elias Canetti observes, “A human being who falls down reminds us of an animal we might have hunted and brought down ourselves. Every sudden fall which arouses laughter does so because it suggests helplessness and reminds us that the fallen can, if we want, be treated as prey. If we went further and actually ate it, we would not laugh.”

A fallen man is funny because he’s no longer composed, erect and posturing, but symbolically reduced to meat, to be stripped naked, slaughtered then eaten. Go ahead and laugh. I’m falling right in front of y’all. Eat my ass.

Last year, I also fell right out of the American literary scene, though this process has been drawn out for nearly a decade. You see, when I mocked Obama, questioned 9/11, dismantled the Bin Laden “assassination,” advocated for the boycott of American presidential elections, rejected Hillary Clinton, dismissed American higher education as a brainwashing scam and appeared on Iran’s Press TV dozens of times, I lost most of my literary allies, nearly all of whom are servile academics. My worst sins, however, were repeated attacks on Jewish power and frank discussions of racial differences, which culminated in “Blacks, Jews and You.”

Here’s how Wikipedia describes my racial views, “He has suggested that African-American biological inferiority means that ‘in every field besides sports, entertainment and politics, blacks are failing spectacularly against all other races,’ but I’ve never described any race as biologically inferior or superior to another. Here is exactly what I said:

In every field besides sports, entertainment and politics, blacks are failing spectacularly against all other races, a fact readily admitted to by blacks and black apologists themselves as evidence of America’s racism and oppression of blacks. America is racist, but so is every other country and person, for racism, at core, is merely an extension and manifestation of innate self-love. One loves oneself, family then nation, which is made up of those that share one’s language, above all, as well as culture and history, if not also a physical similarity.

In an email, one lifelong academic moron screamed at me for “excoriating” blacks, and I was astounded and saddened that a man charged with teaching thousands of young people how to write better English clearly did not understand such a basic verb as “excoriate.” Though I’ve talked many times about black crime and dysfunction, I’ve never lashed out at this entire race, for that would be preposterous, and not enlightening. The observer’s job is to highlight, describe and explain, with praise or censure sentimental acts best kept to a minimum.

There’s only one American poet left who admits to being my friend, and Ian Keenan and I were sort of neighbors, with him living just across the Delaware from Philadelphia. We took a few multi-day MegaBus trips together. When you’re over 50, it’s no fun to sleep on a tight, bumpy seat so save on hotel bills, but that’s what Ian and I did. Spending little, we explored Toronto, Montreal, Atlanta and New Orleans.

Emailing Ian, I wrote, “Though I’m accused of being a hater of blacks, I've actually written many more sympathetic words about blacks than nearly all of my critics combined. Take my Jackson, Wisconsin, Point Breeze and North Philly postcards, for examples, with the first two in my book, or a bunch of poems in A Mere Rica. I observe blacks closely, listen to them attentively and quote them at length, which are more than what most poets are willing to do, even the black ones!” Then, “Pay particular attention to Stewart Crenshaw, an allegory about the black experience that's one of my best stories.” Much of this writing is now gathered in a free PDF, BLACKS. Read it and judge for yourself.

In English and Vietnamese, I’ve also written about Vietnamese dysfunction, with many accounts in prose and poetry of dishonesty, power abuse, corruption, mindless superstition and general idiocy. Check out my novel, Love Like Hate. Of course, I’ve also described many instances of beauty, empathy, courage, resilience and sacrifice, which I’ve routinely encountered wherever I went, for they are all necessary for human survival.

About 15 years ago, Ron Silliman sized me up, “note that he is hardly the only good or successful Vietnamese American poet, let alone the only poet to come from a working class background, yet he is not writing ‘about’ or even ‘toward’ nor ‘from’ any one of these contexts so much as he is through them—they are lenses, filters, that condition his perspective on everyday life. Imagine what any other poet with this strong a sense of form would have had to become in order to write such poetry. Ted Berrigan, for example. Berrigan shares Linh’s class background, which enables him to be as ruthless in a different way as Linh is in his. But the comparison stops there. Linh is writing straightforward poetry, but from a perspective shared by almost no one else. This kind of exile is far deeper than mere geography… you can feel Linh’s deep loneliness on every page & realize that there are aspects of his poetry that you can’t find anywhere else. We probably haven’t had a writer this singular since the death of William Burroughs.”

Even at the time, I thought Silliman overpraised me, and I remember thinking, Poor Ron. I hope he won’t regret such effusiveness. Now that I’m tarred as a Fascist, perhaps Ron wishes he never endorsed me at all. In any case, I went from being compared to Burroughs and Bukowski to being untouchable, with no reading invitations for years before I left the USA.

It’s no mystery, really. I’ve become a pariah because I’ve repeatedly attacked Jewish power. That’s the one unforgivable cardinal sin in that Jew-dominated nation, where every public intellectual, academic, politician and even the president must prostrate himself endlessly before this mendacious, blood thirsty and vindictive Moloch.

How can they forgive me for calling their sacred Holocaust an elaborate myth that’s “propped up by a shoahload of bogus scholarship and hundreds of tear jerking movies”? And I’ve added, “The Holocaust does not explain genocide but enables it, but few dare to say so, for fear of Jewish power.”

Jewish power has only inconvenienced my life a bit, not humiliated me daily, bulldozed my house, arrested me, tortured me, shot me or destroyed my entire society, so I’m the slightest casualty among its millions of victims. Americans, though, are both victims and mercenaries of Jewish power, for even as they help Jewish power to destroy other societies, their own is being deformed and wrecked by Jewish power. America is Jewish power’s war horse, galloping towards the glue factory.

Wars fought for Israel are added to the list of American war crimes, to be condemned by Jews as evidence of the innate evilness of the white race.

Why is Jewish power so hated for so long by so many nations? Elie Wiesel, “For two thousand years the Jewish people lived on the edge of destruction; somewhere Jews were always being killed? For what? For no reason.” Since Jews are always persecuted and killed “for no reason,” Christian and Muslim goys across dozens of countries where Jews have dwelt must be evil, for they have all feared, dreaded or despised Jews to some degree, “for no reason.”

In his eye opening Yahweh to Zion, Laurent Guyénot observes, “Every historical conflict between Jews and goyim is assumed to be the fault of the goyim. If a man quarrels with everyone in his life—his neighbors, his boss, his coworkers, those he meets on the street—and then insists that all of those people are persecuting him for no reason whatsoever, few of us would take him at his word.”

Guyénot traces the Jew’s problem to his racist, supremacist Yahweh, who promises that the Jew’s destiny is to rule over the entire world, “The book of Isaiah would be expanded during several centuries, without deviating from the initial plan, which was to make Zion the new center of the world: ‘It will happen in the final days that the mountain of Yahweh’s house will rise higher than the mountains and tower above the heights. Then all the nations will stream to it. […] For the Law will issue from Zion and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem’ (2:2–3). Kings, Yahweh assures his people, ‘will fall prostrate before you, faces to the ground, and lick the dust at your feet’ (49:23), whereas ‘I shall make your oppressors eat their own flesh, they will be as drunk on their own blood as on new wine. And all humanity will know that I am Yahweh, your Saviour, your redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob’ (49:26). ‘For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you will perish, and the nations will be utterly destroyed’ (60:12).”

Buddha never preached anything so bloodcurdling. This ultimate us against them philosophy is rabidly racist and intolerant, for it judges all outsiders, goyim, as slaves, at best. In "Oddities of the Jewish Religion," Jewish Ron Unz concludes, “A religion based upon the principal of ‘Love Thy Neighbor’ may or may not be workable in practice, but a religion based upon ‘Hate Thy Neighbor’ may be expected to have long-term cultural ripple effects that extend far beyond the direct community of the deeply pious. If nearly all Jews for a thousand or two thousand years were taught to feel a seething hatred toward all non-Jews and also developed an enormous infrastructure of cultural dishonesty to mask that attitude, it is difficult to believe that such an unfortunate history has had absolutely no consequences for our present-day world, or that of the relatively recent past.”

Since collective judgement is at the heart of Jewish thinking, one shouldn’t be surprised to find entire groups targeted under Communism, a Jewish inspired movement that’s still not discredited, despite its millions of victims.

In 2008, a friend took me to Caffe Trieste in North Beach to meet Jack Hirschman, the poet laureate of San Francisco. Shaggy, well wrinkled and cheery, Hirshman certainly looked like an old, celebrated poet, or just some homeless guy, if the setting was the Tenderloin. The first thing Jack did was show me a brochure from the Stalin Museum in Gori, Georgia. He then gushed about Simon Sebag Montefiore’s just released Young Stalin. “It’s great! You must get it!” This, to a Vietnamese refugee from Communism. In his one letter to me, 15 years earlier, Jack also spoke of Stalin.

Changing the topic, I asked Jack how he had managed to live all these years without a job, since UCLA fired him in 1966. Gleefully, Jack recounted a succession of women, and when he got to Agneta Falk, I interrupted, “So you dumped Sarah [Menefee]?”

“Yes, I did,” Jack grinned, “but thanks to Marxism and Leninism, we’re still comrades!”

When you encounter a man who speaks of universal love and solidarity, consider how he treats those closest to him, for if he can’t be considerate to those who love and trust him the most, then his profession of love for an abstract humanity is but a sham.

During the 2016 Democratic Convention in Philadelphia, I saw many young progressives marching down Broad Street with large red flags, within half a mile of Little Cambodia, a neighborhood of Communist victims.

Peaceful vigils in Leipzig, Germany helped to bring down the Berlin Wall, thus ending East Germany’s Communist nightmare, yet today, you’ll find taunting, pro Communist stickers around Leipzig, along with various progressive declarations, such as “NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL.” Yes, that’s true, but an immigrant to, say, Vietnam, Nigeria or Israel can certainly be illegal, so why should Germany have open borders? On Hainstraße, I spotted a cute sticker that read, “STILL NOT LOVING GERMANY. NO NATION. NO BORDER. FIGHT LAW AND ORDER!”

Orwell, “an education in Marxism and similar creeds consists largely in destroying your moral sense,” and common sense, too, I should add.

In a Culture of Critique, Kevin MacDonald points out that “Since the 1960s a hostile, adversary elite has emerged to dominate intellectual and political debate. It is an elite that almost instinctively loathes the traditional institutions of European-American culture: its religion, its customs, its manners, and its sexual attitudes,” and the consequence of this is “a long-term decline in the hegemony of European peoples in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world.” White people will go down, in short, and this is great news not just to this hostile, Jewish-dominated elite, but to the many whites who have come to reject their heritage as shameful and hateful, but how do you get a population to despise itself so, to the point of cultural suicide?

It’s easy when you dominate the American academy and media, as Jews have done for decades, so on television, there’s a long list of white trash, from Archie Bunker to Honey Boo Boo, but Jews are always sympathetic and sensitive, and the New York Times in 1999 could have 273 stories about the Holocaust and just 23 for all of Africa. In Hollywood films, priests are often depicted as perverts or worse. Kevin MacDonald, “Examples where Christianity is portrayed negatively abound. For example, in the film Monsignor (1982), a Catholic priest commits every imaginable sin, including the seduction of a glamorous nun and then is involved in her death. In Agnes of God (1985), a disturbed young nun gives birth in a convent, murders her baby, and then flushes the tiny, bloody corpse down the toilet. There are also many subtle anti-Christian scenes in Hollywood films, such as when the director Rob Reiner repeatedly focuses on the tiny gold crosses worn by Kathy Bates, the sadistic villain in Misery.”

Kevin MacDonald sums up, “The best strategy for a collectivist group like the Jews for destroying Europeans therefore is to convince the Europeans of their own moral bankruptcy. A major theme of [Culture of Critique] is that this is exactly what Jewish intellectual movements have done. They have presented Judaism as morally superior to European civilization and European civilization as morally bankrupt and the proper target of altruistic punishment. The consequence is that once Europeans are convinced of their own moral depravity, they will destroy their own people in a fit of altruistic punishment. The general dismantling of the culture of the West and eventually its demise as anything resembling an ethnic entity will occur as a result of a moral onslaught triggering a paroxysm of altruistic punishment. And thus the intense effort among Jewish intellectuals to continue the ideology of the moral superiority of Judaism and its role as undeserving historical victim while at the same time continuing the onslaught on the moral legitimacy of the West.”

For several summers, I taught at Bard College in upstate New York, in its MFA programs. We had an informal online forum where much was discussed, so when a Bard professor, Joel Kovel, was apparently fired for his book, Overcoming Zionism, I raised this issue, but no other professor responded, not one! This shouldn’t surprise, since the President of Bard College was Leon Botstein, an Israeli citizen. These Bard “intellectuals” didn’t dare to cross their bossman.

Dumped, Kovel released a statement that ended:

On the responsibility of intellectuals

Bard has effectively crafted for itself an image as a bastion of progressive thought. Its efforts were crowned with being anointed in 2005 by the Princeton Review as the second-most progressive college in the United States, the journal adding that Bard "puts the 'liberal' in 'liberal arts.'" But “liberal” thought evidently has its limits; and my work against Zionism has encountered these.

A fundamental principle of mine is that the educator must criticize the injustices of the world, whether or not this involves him or her in conflict with the powers that be. The systematic failure of the academy to do so plays no small role in the perpetuation of injustice and state violence. In no sphere of political action does this principle apply more vigorously than with the question of Zionism; and in no country is this issue more strategically important than in the United States, given the fact that United States support is necessary for Israel’s behavior. The worse this behavior, the more strenuous must be the suppression of criticism. I take the view, then, that Israeli human rights abuses are deeply engrained in a culture of impunity granted chiefly, though not exclusively, in the United States—which culture arises from suppression of debate and open inquiry within those institutions, such as colleges, whose social role it is to enlighten the public. Therefore, if the world stands outraged at Israeli aggression in Gaza, it should also be outraged at institutions in the United States that grant Israel impunity. In my view, Bard College is one such institution. It has suppressed critical engagement with Israel and Zionism, and therefore has enabled abuses such as have occurred and are occurring in Gaza. This notion is of course, not just descriptive of a place like Bard. It is also the context within which the critic of such a place and the Zionist deology it enables becomes marginalized, and then removed.

With books such as White Racism: a Psychohistory; The Enemy of Nature: the End of Capitalism or the End of the World; History and Spirit: an Inquiry into the Philosophy of Liberation; The Radical Spirit; and Red Hunting in the Promised Land: Anticommunism and the Making of America, Kovel was a classic Jewish progressive thinker, and as a well-loved professor at a super progressive college, Kovel thought he had earned the rights to dissect and criticize Israel’s many human right abuses, but it was clearly a career destroying move, so what’s the lesson here?

It’s this: you can be against racism, apartheid, borders, border walls, fascism, nationalism, ethnocentrism, traditional religion, war and genocide all you want, but Israel must be treated differently, for what’s good for the rest of the world doesn’t apply to Jews. This double standard is not inadvertent, but a deliberate strategy deployed by a hostile elite to weaken, divide and demoralize the masses.

When my Vietnam-born wife first came to the US in 2001, she learned English and American culture partly by watching television, so daily, she saw white and black people screaming and clawing at each other on stage, with clothing sometimes torn off. Though she found these spectacles grotesque, she laughed along, because everybody else was laughing. It was normal to see Americans acting like animals. At the end of each show, the man who had orchestrated this entire howling depravity would give a brief lecture on how to behave, thus Jerry Springer joins Jesus, Marx, Freud, Trotsky, Boas, Alinsky, Ginsberg, Goodman and Chomsky as a Jewish teacher for goyim, for even white trash need Jewish guidance to get through this treacherous life.

Now why would a yellow guy like me care about the “Jewish problem,” since it affects mainly white and Muslim nations? I have no choice, actually, for I actually admire and value all cultures, German, Japanese, Italian, French, Czech, Turkish, Spanish, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Dutch, Mexican, American, Canadian, English, Scottish, any and all of them, including Jewish, as long as its genocidal Yahweh is neutralized.

In each culture, I see the intricate flowering of traditions going back millennia, so the willful erosion or destruction of any of them, I see as the gravest crime. When Jews lead the charge against other people’s heritage, as with Communism, open borders or multiculturalism, I can’t help but raise my voice. Though this has brought me no benefits, only woes, I have no regrets, for one must do what’s right.

The Nazis’ racism was but a mirror and fleeting offshoot of Jewish racial supremacy, which endures to manipulate, fleece and wreak havoc on humanity, with Jews themselves among its victims, so Jews, too, must be delivered from this sick mindset. No more chosen people.

Sad, Linh. All I can say is that I cannot imagine a time when we would not be friends.

Hi Rudy,

Sending this off to Ron Unz, I wrote, "To write so confrontationally takes a toll on the spirit, but what choice do you or I have?"

You helped to clarify my thinking, Rudy, so for that, I must thank you.

Lihn notices the things we are not supposed to notice and writes with great clarity of thought. Alas, America is a sick and dying country. Pointing fingers and allocating blame, whether well founded or not isn’t going matter much longer. America’s elite probably know demographically the country is screwed. There is very little love between the Latin hordes invading and the whites and the blacks and the Muslims and the gays. One America with thousands of competing ethnocultural groups. How long it will last is anyone’s guess. Thanks Lihn

My mind did not digest one paragraph of an article that I read this morning and it kept coming back at me the whole day. This evening while reading your post I suddenly got an answer.

Here is this paragraph that my mind did not digest.

" In October 2003, Michael Cherney financed an unusual meeting at the King David hotel in Jerusalem.
...
The conference developed a credo - theopolitics - which has since become widely-used in certain circles. Peace is possible in the world, but only if it is centred in Israël. A world government would prevent any new war. Its headquarters would be in Jerusalem. This is the line held by Jacques Attali in France. "

I was flabbergasted reading this paragraph. How preposterous I thought. But then your quotes from "The book of Isaiah" enlightened me.

Thanks for your profound honesty and the clarity of your writing.
